If I had to make my own au of x men evolution, I’d make Todd based off of the Vijayan's night frog, and I’d make him really short (the frogs are tinyyyyy)
I’d also make Kurt’s tail stronger looking, and more like a monkeys tail (still with the arrow shape like a spear tho)
and I want to give kurt an arc where he learns to not insult others based off of their appearance. His arc would be slow, span a few ‘episodes’
maybe he gets stuck with Todd and has to escape an angry, mutant hating group, and they end up really far away, lost cus they were distracted with escaping
they then slowly get to know each other a bit better, learn they’re not so different, and that Todd has it harder that him in some ways
(in the au, Todd ran away from his family bc they keep ignoring his struggles (like sensitive skin that absorbs things like frog skin does, dietary needs, allergies due to his mutation, etc), but the brother hood are his family now)
and kurt just has a moment where it (the brotherhood’s behaviour) all clicks
also, the possibilities for Todd’s frog species are insane
there’s the flying frog (they actually glide tho), the glass frog, poison dart frogs ( hc that in a universe where he is a dart frog, he’d be non poisonous due to not eating the diet he’d need for his body to build up the chemicals, though he could use chemicals to do it), red eyed tree frog, purple frog, Indian bullfrog, hairy frog, etc
I like to imagine he’s tried to eat one of his friend’s (the brotherhood’s) fingers after frog brain mistook it for a worm

Thank you for asking about Pop💥 Their lore isn't heavily tied to the timeline of the mega man classic games; sorry if their story is cliche or dumb
Pop is the creation of a doctor by the alias of Dr. Rose. The doctor has her own lab with many assistants (robot and human), because the labs main intention is to make Joe robots for the city. Dr. Rose believed that she was capable of making more than weaponry and military-grade bots. She'd been put down by other's for her more frowned upon ideas, and so when she was offered the opportunity to make her dream a reality, she took it.
One of the assistants to Dr. Rose was actually the parent to Pop, but she didn't want the baby. The doctor was quite persistent in wanting to care for the child even before it was conceived, and was the doctor that helped the woman give birth. Dr. Rose's plan in doing this was to ensure that no outside hospital knew of Pop's existence.
Dr. Rose used Pop more as a test subject for her ideas rather than really caring for them. They weren't reated poorly, but more like a pet fish that a human child: They were fed the same three meals and was checked up on from time to time. Dr. Rose would "upgrade" parts of them, making Pop only partially human. Dr. Rose intended for Pop to be some form of superhuman, and it she was successful in creating them, then she can present them as a prototype in hopes to make more. Pop would escape from the lap before the final upgrade was installed, fearing their identity being altered and yearning for freedom. Because they aren't exactly human anymore, they question where they belong and who exactly they are now.
Pop has witnessed cartoons and shows that show what the world looks like, and they grew to want a normal life outside of the lab. When they escaped, they were alarmed to see the amount of humans and robots. They stole a few articles of clothing from a mall, and are hiding from Dr. Rose's robots she sent to look for Pop. Pop doesn't have much knowledge of the outside world, and is fascinated by more simple and mundane parts of life.
(Dr. Rose is kinda based off of Dr. Gross from adventure time... just a little)

It doesn’t excuse on my action on gruncho nor anything to the kids and the villagers” Vanny smile sadly as she still her parents behavior toward at her, how her mother threaten her if she doesn’t behave, at best locked her at the closet and told lies that there was some creature that was about to eat her for being a bad child. her father just straight up neglect her, doesn’t even give her the attention vanny wanted when she was a child, even when she ask for it when she crave attention from her parent but at the end she accepted the fact they would never give a reaction to her, so why even bother. Vanny gone through hell thanks to those two but at least she no longer with them, they’re gone and that is all good, at least knowing her past, she can at least be better with at least others who is there listening to her and give her comfort and attention. “At least now I can avoid to being like them.” Vanny added as she sway her tail as she just smile despite the horrific memories abut those two.

Snatcher, in human form, quietly floated through Subcon Forest, eyes and ears wide open as he looked around for the interloper. Hopefully, the runaway soul he’d seen wouldn’t recognize him in his more human form as Prince Charles and this could be resolved without too much of an issue.

In any case, the ghost tried to put his guilt and shame at what the soul had said, and the situation in general, aside–what was important was getting them to move on…especially before they got too out of control and the forest…or his kids, got hurt.
Hearing a nearby noise, Snatcher quickly turned around to see who was there, whether it be the runaway soul, or someone, or something, else.
“Yeah, action like this, it at least reassure me that I’m showing some differences.” Vanny smile as she couldn’t help but be proud to take some step on her own while some don’t even bother to. Vanny ears perk up when she felt being patted by misty, she give a nod as she smile at the child. “Thank you.” Vanny respond as she began to wonder what kind of parent snatcher is. “Dare I ask what they’re like? if you want to share it that is.” Vanny ask as she couldn’t but be curious about it, she would understand if snatcher doesn’t want to share anything about his parent, so far she know one doesn’t have good parent. they both have a few in common but that about it.
