WHY? > likelihood of more pages in one or more updates that I wish to post close to one another, doing final edits of Tear's info sheet for full version release, extra art to promote the info sheet update (as it's an edit of an old post/not new post), writing additional story facts and potential of more art for explanation purposes. I plan to post all these daily (probably within 2-3 days) once I draw everything.

I like that lil story bit with your OC. Tear can essentially act as a translator for the other XD. And god does the drawing look cute. Loveeeeee how Rezmo surprises them and just hovers there. Tear looks so round and squishable too hhhhhhh. Smacking this art with my love
*Me realizing that since my OC, Rezmo is a ghost so maybe he and Tear can be friends.
Technically, Rezmo can't talk, but he can still communicate with other ghosts like him. The only thing is that no other living being would be able to hear what he's saying. He's kinda just floating upside down above Tear, like the gremlin that he is.

I kinda imagine that if tear had also stole some of errors puppets to save for extra stuffing/fabric if needed later, but would probably end up using them as stand-ins to practice befriending other sanses?!

When Tear just gets their plush body, they don't automatically know how to 'phase'. The existence of the corporeal body makes the process feel different enough. Unlike before, they now need to use magic and Tear did not have enough time for self discoveries before Error showed up.
When Error attacks Tear, Tear's soul is exposed. Error planned for his strings to go inside his opponent in order to grab the soul. However, his intent force pushed it outside before time. With the new body, Tear didn't know how to reject the intent yet. This usually requires close to no effort and monsters do it instinctually. This is the only canon instance where Tear's soul is forcefully shown via intent.
Another way to force Tear's soul out is by, quite literally, tearing his body apart and digging through all the cotton. This needs to be done using magic, because the plush body won't rip otherwise. Alternatively, it's also possible without magic if Tear is fused with their body
Tear's ribcage area doesn't mimic a skeleton as perfectly. It is not hollow. They had no point of reference while making the body. This is why Tear is pretty soft.
Tear's info sheet has updated and can be found >>HERE<< I wanted to keep it flat colored, so it has really bare minimum shading. Just to pop it a lil bit. Drawing Tear happy is my favorite flavor. Yum

The headphones are crying!!!!! The headphones becoming somewhat sentient or matching Tear is not something I expected to see from quite a few fanarts actually. First one that cries now too. Such a wild but cool concept you all are going with.
