McGilded part of the reaper gang?

Spoilers for Cases 1-3,1-5,2-5 at the least..

Okay so, I was replaying the fifth case of the first game because im doing an exposition to my best friend about the game (she doesn’t want to play it but i want her to know about the game so...) and Well we all remember when Lord Vortex told Ryunosuke in the third case to win as it was an easy case (which it was technically) at first with the difficult I was all  like THIS IS EASY BITCH? Of course we later discover McGilded was cultprit and all that, and OF course Lord Vortex must have known that, he was just going to let Ryunosuke Lose he really didn’t care.  And we also known hw would kill anyone who got between him and becoming the lawyer of the queen.

But how can you say McGilded was part of the reaper gang?

Well Ladies and gentleman and people. When “Eggert Benedict” gives the pasword to Windybank he says “Professor” and you could be like oh but Beppo was the one to give the coat!, well yes! but let’s think about it...would you guys really think McGilded would have not told him to set a especific password so he knew how to get it back?, i think not.

and how strange was the car got in fire suddendly thanks to Ashley Graydon, he said he got some officers lured...do you really think some scotland yard officers would be lured so easily?, (let’s forget the guy from case 1-4 okay?) UNLESS someone of higher rank allowed it...and who’s better for that? VORTEX he told the officers to do anything about McGilded and if Ashley lured them, they would take the opportunity, and so will Vortex. 

He wanted McGilded to die and be free about it, it was all perfect! had McGilded really lose, he could have go out quickly (money :v) and probably he wouldn’t have time to get Mcgilded dead, but he did with the Omnibus help.

And why would he need McGilded to be part of the reaper gang? well he has connections money! everything, and probably can be considered aristocracy. 

But of course McGilded had thought correctly everything, if he got the information of the goverment then he would have the upper hand against Vortex, and be able to blackmail him after all the assasins exchange was there in the disk. And Gregson knew, althought he didn’t understood why, that’s why vortex ordered him to retrieve the disk! (I still can’t believe Gregson is part of the reaper gang but let’s leave that for another time). Knowing that, Vortex  must had gotten the help of McGilded ten years ago with the case of the professor probably in publicity with the newspapers or something but, the truth is somehow McGilded known the “Identity” Of the real professor.

And that’s why Vortex needed him dead.
