Immortal Words

Many directions,

Many paths. 

North,

South,

East,

And West. 

Up,

But down.

The sky and ground.

Hell heeds Heaven.

Heaven heeds Hell.

The elements,

Fire,

Air,

Water,

Earth.

I know these all too well.

Black and white.

Yin and Yang.

They are diverse,

Yet hauntingly the same. 

Now we are simply,

Awaking,

Shaking,

Quaking,

Thinking,

We’re silently breaking.

And silently leaving. 

We’re all lost and grieving.

Alas,

Our hearts will not stop beating.
