Today a very simple and small thing happened in my life that I started to think "really, everyone must hate me" because my best friend responded to me more dryly than we are used to treating each other. So, right after that, I freaked out. But later on, she responded to me by starting a conversation like herself. So, I'm going to put here a list, which might make sense to the topic, of things that might be happening to make us feel like "everyone hates me right now."

You must be feeling lonely. We as human beings really look for connection, right?* And when we don't get it, we can start to feel bad about ourselves, perhaps like we're not "deserving of love". Try looking into this if it's feel good for you. (Abraham Maslow)*

You may be facing low self-esteem right now. When our self-esteem is low we may tend to think we are less than others, we tend to need more external validation* and our thoughts about ourselves tend to be more negative**. (Carl Rogers)* (Aaron Beck)** (Melanie Klein)**

Maybe you can be personalizing external events right now. In psychology, personalizing external events refers to the tendency of an individual to interpret external events as being directly related to them, even when there is no clear evidence of such a connection. Like, when we hear people whispering and we assume it's about us or like me today, that assumed my friend hated me because she was more quiet today. Like, there are more reasons for my friend to be more quiet today than just me. Not everything is our fault, right? (Derald Wing Sue).

"The implication of this is that the mind’s possibilities are limited by it's concept of it's potential". - Na'im Akbar.

Psychologists and psychoanalysts that I tried to read to make this list, by order of topic: Abraham Maslow, Carl Rogers, Aaron Beck, Melanie Klein, Derald Wing Sue, Na'im Akbar.
