Here is your first warning - I am back on my Warrior Cats bullshit after an afternoon of learning enough python to code in some fun pelt colors for clangen.

Might as well use it as a warmup for the sake of writing, because that sounds like fun negl. I don't do art much, so I'll be posting the sprites and if I doodle them then we'll go from there.

So if you want to escape fictional cat shenanigans - or track them, I won't judge - the tag for all of them is "spino writes warriors", since it'll be primarily writing. I've got no plan but clangen's rng so here we go!

Introducing- EchoClan!

A ragtag collection of survivors from events none will talk about, EchoClan is a brand new clan - starting from scratch. They have no ancestors here, in the tunnels in which they live, and while the terrible events that drove them into the tunnels seems to have left all of them with some kind of magic, that's as new as everything else.

Leader - Hushstar

At 32 moons (2 years, 8 months) old, Hushstar is the youngest adult cat in the clan. Getting selected as leader was the last thing he expected - but between the other survivors declaring it so and the dream he had of StarClan not long after, this tom is determined to do right by the newly formed clan despite the irony of his name. Does not appear to have manifested a magic.

Deputy - Shadowsplash

39 moons (3 years, 3 months) old. Shadowsplash stepped up as deputy the day Hushstar was made leader. Often, the clan turns to her in order to resolve disputes, as Shadowsplash was training to be a mediator when they were all driven underground. Has sand powers, and puts them to use in making sure the tunnels they live in are habitable.

Medicine Cat - Cobaltslip

68 moons (5 years, 8 months) old. Cobaltslip was a field medicine cat during the Event, and fear of what was happening drove her to flee. She fell in with a group of survivors, carrying a kit that shouldn't have been on the battlefield in her mouth. As part of EchoClan, Cobaltslip has found herself with unexpected water powers - an incredible boon when they live underground now.

Warriors - Downyburn and Fawnleaf

At 81 moons (6 years, 9 months) old, Downyburn is the oldest cat in EchoClan. Preferring peace and quick kills above all else, Downyburn is mostly amused that she's manifested a steam power and entirely glad to not be forced into leadership just because she's the oldest. Still, she has experience to share, and that experience can help them all adjust to life in the tunnels.

40 moons (3 years, 4 months) old. Fawnleaf has decided that it's his job to make sure that no one muddles up the warrior code. While he doesn't appear to have manifested a magic thus far, he's fairly glad about it. It means Hushstar isn't the only one magic-less. But... he seems to know something the others don't...

Kits - Gullkit

Just barely one moon (one month) old, Gullkit was saved from the Event by Cobaltslip's quick thinking. At this age, Gullkit is a daring kitten who is constantly pouncing others tails, much to the displeasure of those others. Her steam powers are quite weak, but out of everyone she's the one who is going to have the best grasp of growing up with her powers.

EchoClan Year 0, Moons 1-6

Moon One Nothing of note happens.

Moon Two Downyburn's pretty sure that flowers are in short supply here in the tunnels. And yet, here some are. They're an odd shade of red, and they look a little bit like orchids. Collecting some just in case Cobaltslip needs them is a matter of course... though perhaps Downyburn collects an extra pretty one in hopes that it may just raise Cobaltslip's spirits. As it turns out, the flowers are a hit - and Cobaltslip nestles that one extra pretty one into her fur.

Moon Three Downyburn and Cobaltslip search for lungwort until they're both sore - following a dream Cobaltslip has about potentially incoming yellowcough. They don't find any.

Moon Four Gullkit finds an interesting little isopod that seems to rather like her steam! She decides that it's her friend now.

Cobaltslip develops a habit of working long into the night for the sake of her clan, worrying incessantly over the possible illnesses that could strike here and now.

Downyburn feels a sense of dread that she can't articulate, and it puts her on edge.

Moon Five Gullkit is renamed Gullpaw! Downyburn takes her in as apprentice, and her little isopod friend too.

Moon Six Downyburn announces that she's expecting kits! Hushstar is seen speaking with a cat that doesn't belong to EchoClan... Fawnleaf is wounded by a badger! No one knows how that happened...

I smell shenanigans afoot! I have no idea who Downyburn is having kits with, though I'm willing to put my money on probably Cobaltslip negl, especially after the flowers.

Lot of little interactions didn't make it to the post - Fawnleaf has a lot of enemies in the clan at this point. He has a habit of saying he'll cover for someone, and then immediately doesn't. That kind of behavior really doesn't win one many friends.

Also I am loving Gullpaw's little isopod friend so much tbh.

EchoClan Year 0, Moons 7-12

Moon Seven Nothing of note happens.

Moon Eight Chaos breaks loose! It all started with Fawnleaf's muttering in the medicine cat den, foul tempered and angry. He's convinced that the badger attack two moons ago has something to do with the non-clan cat that Hushstar was seen talking to. And then the blight in the medicine cat den is discovered, claiming the majority of the carefully stocked herbs. Before anyone can start figuring out what happened, Downyburn groans from in the nursery, and Cobaltslip rushes to her side. Taking sight of the two newborn kittens, she purrs so hard she thinks she might vibrate into nonexistence. And that's the opening Fawnleaf needs to lurch out of the medicine cat den and challenge Hushstar for leadership! Hushstar, appaled and angered, accuses Fawnleaf of ruining the medicine cat stores - and it's a fight! A remarkably one sided fight. Hushstar comes out of it with a shallow claw-wound, while Fawnleaf finds himself with a brand new bite scar perilously close to his throat. Plus a torn ear, when Hushstar asks Shadowsplash to deal with the situation while he goes to check in on Downyburn. Shadowsplash drags a stubborn Fawnleaf back to the medicine den by his ear, leaving it ragged and torn by the time they get there. In doing so, Shadowsplash sustains a bite and a claw wound, as well as a nicked ear. After all the commotion outside, Downyburn nudges her dear kits under her belly to safety. Riftkit and Streakkit can meet the rest of the world... next moon.

Moon Nine Fawnleaf's badger wound heals remarkably well, it doesn't even seem like it's going to scar! Likewise, his torn ear from Shadowsplash seems to be healing well. Unfortunately, though, it looks like the bitewound dealt to him by Hushstar is infected...

This only serves to worsen Fawnleaf's mood, and when Gullpaw pulls a harmless prank, Fawnleaf snaps at her.

Downyburn finally feels ready to introduce her kits to the rest of the clan, heartened by the way Hushstar has been bringing Fawnleaf food.

Introducing - Riftkit and Streakkit!

Children of Downyburn and Cobaltslip, these two kittens are the first kittens born to EchoClan. Riftkit seems to be a shy little one with water powers, who quickly takes to hiding. Streakkit has a power none of the others have seen before. Is that.... blood...?

Moon Ten Cobaltslip informs Shadowsplash that unfortunately, they'll be scarred permanently by the bite that Fawnleaf dealt them. On top of that, they're half deaf now, on the side they were bitten.

Shadowsplash takes the time to ask Cobaltslip to pass around the clan that they'd like to switch to using they pronouns, since while they've been injured they've had the time to muse on how she no longer feels right.

Fawnleaf daydreams about one day being deputy.

Streakkit's request to stop being babied just gets her ccooed at. She's only two moons old after all!

Moon Eleven Shadowsplash's infection gets worse.

Fawnleaf recovers from his infection, and promises to do better for the sake of the clan. A few cats notice his quiet glance at Hushstar as he says it.

Moon Twelve Shadowsplash's infection has cleared.

Hushstar has healed from the claw-wound dealt by Fawnleaf, though it has left a scar.

Gullpaw graduates to Gullsnap at 13 moons old, given a name meant to honor her tranquil spirit!

And with that, EchoClan's first year has completed! No deaths, surprisingly enough, but my oh my is the drama hot

My EchoClan save got screwed over so I'm just. Gonna make an extra extra hard personal challenge that requires a whole-ass spreadsheet, and start over with a diff format.

Because I am not over my bullshit okay. It's fun warmup stuff, it may even feature on my stream on occasion.

Introducing Swarmclan!

Silentstar, a black tabby cat with teal colored eyes.

It's a year before she meets another cat.

Silentstar hasn't been coping with the solitude very well and she knows it, but it's at least given her time to grow accustomed to the name that the figures in her dream declared was hers. A good thing, she supposes, since when she woke up to this... this world like this, she hadn't been able to remember anything.

The other cat yowls something about it having been twelve moons since the world ended, and attacks her. This is it, Silentstar thinks as she lays there bleeding. She'll die here. Like this.

And then she wakes, gasping for breath and shivering. Alive. The other cat is dead, and she watches the other cat for a long time before she comes to the realization that they're just not getting up. She did, though, and it takes a minute for her to make the connection.

Those wild cats. Clan cats. She remembers hearing about them Before. Their leaders were said to have literally nine lives. And... names that ended in -star, wasn't it? Like Tigerstar (who...? The name does not have an image with it, but does have a feeling of contempt). That must be what's happened - she... has nine lives now? Okay. Sure. Well, eight now.

A leader will want for a clan name, right? While she's alone, all she can think is a name that will give her a measure of defense. A name that will make hostile cats think she's not alone...

Swarmclan! That'll do.

if yee then any mod, theme, lore,etc suggestions? (ive only played vanilla,awoogen and lifegen so uhhhh im not rlly deep into what makes a good mod-)

Fanart for @everevergreen! Such adorable kitties, hopefully I got their designs right. Can't wait to see more from them all, and might draw the last two leaders later.

I was gonna add all the leaders to all the clangens that were gonna take place in this blog! but I got lazy.. I guess this is part 1 of all the leaders? Anyway; this is Himbostar! he started the clan at 18 moons old, which i was surprised at how young the lad was...The others were mostly elders and kittens... didnt leave much of a choice when it started? Honeystar is a bit of an oblivious idiot; who really seems like he tried to lead the clan right... but has faced a lot of struggled and lost a lot of lives trying to save other cats at sea.

Honeystar of Wishclan has SOMEHOW managed to get TWO deputies in his clan(gen) clan! I have no idea how this dude managed to bug the game enough to do so... Meet; Quietstep (gray one) and RedMoon. (chimera?) Red had honestly been the "real" leader due to Honeystar having been quite young and not the sharpest kit in the litter... She honestly just wants to retire, but cant due to the fact that Honey still has a lot to learn about leading the clan properly... ANYWAY! VERY QUICK DOODLE! Cus i thought it was kinda funny that he had TWO.

Bramblehoney! the medicine cat of wishclan! She might not be only med-cat, but she is def the overworked one! I don't really like how the lashes came out, but all these cats with be heavily inspired by the like of GC, LC, RC and so on! Who are great clangen creators.

BrambleHoney cant catch a break! seems like she really is the clan therapist.. a lot of the shite her clanmates talks about is rather messy! No wonder she has to wear a lot of lavender..

Quietstep is WishClan's deputy, but he also doesnt like Honeystar/his own leader.
