Behind her, the red desert sand stretches to the horizon which ripples in the fading heat of sunset.

Introducing Violet Death, the most terrifying teenage gunwitch in the whole West. Her truth bullet will make you spill your guts-- in both senses of the phrase.

Her shirt is simple white linen; her pants simple brown. A dark blue poncho covers her shoulders and spare fabric cascades off the left side. A black cowboy hat with a violet ribbon shades her stern face. Standing behind her is a bipedal black creature made of rivulets of thick liquid. Two pronghorn antlers sprout from the crown of its head. Its red eye stares at the viewer, emotionless. Two wings spread out fully behind its back. Behind them both the sun is setting, painting the sky red, orange and purple. The sand is the color of blood with small tufts of brush sprouting.

A teenager girl on a quest to avenge her mother. A demonic guardian bound to her that refuses to kill people. An empty desert where no one can hide for long....

The Future

Hey Law of the Jungle fans, my jungleheads, it's been a while since the last chapter, and I kinda dropped the series for a while. Thankfully, I've been reinvigorated back into the writing sphere with some news for you all. 1 Law of the Jungle will be resuming, and I'm going back to editing some of the past couple chapters that I'm not quite satisfied with. When they are edited I will send out an announcement that the edits are complete. ALSO I think I'm gonna start posting the chapters onto AO3 after recently learning about the site. 2 This is the cool one. Under a new pen name "Skin" I'm working on a weird west comic book called "Wizardworld" which is being posted to Tapas, check it out if you have the time or want to. If you just happened to see this without a clue as to what this is or who I am, take this as a sign to start or finish that book you've been wanting to write.
