1 year of weirdcobycore: MAY 2024
may into june i start picking up on making edits again after a few months of burnout and just being pretty busy so there are quite a few for may :)
^ May 12, 2024 | here is an edit i love a lot. i think the base does a lot of heavy lifting in this edit but it works
^ May 4, 2024 | this edit is kinda special because i had it in my wip's from months and months ago. i started out with the orb idea and the base but couldn't figure out how to finish it, until i was going through the wip's folder and found it again, and finally finished it. i think the results are pretty good. i love edits with orbs they're just so silly lol
^ May 8, 2024 (left) and May 21, 2024 (right) | these 2 edits are just a few more favorites from this month. i love the effect for the gif on the left and the one on the right has personal meaning to me so naturally i love it. (just decided to put these 2 together to save space for this post lol, dont want it too long)
May 15, 2024 | i was really just doing random stuff with this edit, i wanted to try something a bit different to what i usually make and was unsure of how it was going to do. it ended up doing pretty well. i mostly wanted to use "the universe replied" in an edit because its from a song/band that i really love (and have used many song lyrics from before in past edits lol)
1 year of weirdcobycore: JUNE 2024
this will be the last 1 year post!!! all of these edits will be from before june 20, the date i made my first edit a year before.
Jun 8, 2024 | i really love this edit because it's an album title and song lyric from the same band (los campesinos!!!) that i have made lots of edits with song lyrics from. as i have said before, hello los camp followers from my main :) i see you
Jun 18, 2024 | this is one of my favorite edits of all time probably because it has very specific personal meaning to me and my childhood which hits really hard. i made several other edits which were also related to this one.
and that's it for the 1 year of weirdcobycore!!! ty to everyone who has supported me and this blog. i will continue to make weirdcore at my own pace for as long as it's fun for me, which is looking like it will be a while lol. idk if i'll do this next year but i have a long time to decide. ty again for all you guys' support :D
