One of my classmates insists I'm (the system) is the "main character"

If this is the main character... There's multiple main characters at the same school with wildly different interests, narrated with different voices... we're split perspective and forgetting what the last character did..

But I can't say that. So I laugh, wildly awkwardly, feel my voice crack and brush it off
