Mom & dad are both in the guard, when his dad fell head over heels when their regiments were paired together his commander wasn’t too hyped about it but luckily when the regiments co-missioning was over little Bern was all set to be on his own (aka not a goofy little baby who needs to be swaddled and baby sat 24/7 aaka a toddler-ish) so Bern’s old man’s officer settled him and his platoon with boy dad-ing it up!

I’m sure you can expect how a gaggle of 20 something soldiers got along caring for a toddler— (they’re trying their best and the kid made it sooooo-)

And yes Bern’s little feral child eyes do the lovely light shine glow hard core

Pft- Berny would happily spare a dad ÚwÙ! The parent meeting would be wild smh, talking bio dad he’s just got one of those but all his other fathers would love to meet his new friend and new friend’s mom! Gotta see how their big shot regiment son is doing after all! Quirks and all-
