I signed up at a Pride event earlier this year -
-The one where I got stung by a wasp after reaching my hand under a table while helping clean up. Wasp was ok. I was ok (I'd never been stung before so I kind of had to sit and See If I Reacted). It hurt like a motherfucker for a bit, I thought I'd been lanced by a piece of metal it was so sharp! Healed well with the judicious application of topical benadryl. She was defending the world's tiniest three cell wasp nest.
No word on if the altercation was born of the wasp being homophobic and stinging me for being at pride or an exclusionist stinging me for being ostensibly allocishet at pride (joke)-
-And it worked 100% apparently!! Go voter registration lady!! Thanks for your service to the community I would NOT have been able to get this done without you. You are my voter registration angel. That's one less thing to worry about!
