Okay, strange theory, but I feel like anything in the Upside Down, likes things that start with B… like first first, the Demogorgan killed Barb, then in Season two, it killed Bob, then the Min’s Flayer killed Billy… they are also relationships that start with B. Barb was Nancy’s BEST friend, Bon was Joyce’s BOYFRIEND, and Billy was Max’s BROTHER (I know not technically but just roll with it)… so Barb = Best Friend, Bob = Boyfriend, and Billy = Brother.

See a pattern? It may just be a coincidence but, I may be wrong…
