god this is so fucking real my experience is with gay people so that's what i know and i feel like gay people treat black people like a sexuality maybe more than straight people? gay boys in particular white gays can be so fucking racist sometimes and it feels like they think it's okay because they're oppressed too i did actually meet a black guy who said it was his first time hooking up with a black person and that it was like a Thing not sure if he said he was nervous but something along those lines that it was a new experience in a significant way and i was like... the internalized racism is insane i think i've seen like maybe 3 people romantically who didn't specifically have a thing for black guys it just feels so dehumanizing when there are people who straight up don't want anything to do with black people and the ones that do are almost fetishizing blackness i just want to exist as a person is that really so much to ask im mixed so seeing the way people treat potential romantic/sexual partners of a different race was kind of a whiplash moment like people REALLY care sometimes and it just blows my mind honestly ^^ prev tags anti-black racism
