Whodunnit - Tumblr Posts

proud to say that I have never once in my life figured out the whodunit in any crime story I've read or watched. I just let the facts and clues wash over me, absorbing absolutely none of it. I am the audience they think of when they throw in red herrings, in case you've ever wondered "who would fall for this obvious false lead". it's me. I am the idiot viewer/reader. not once has an obviously framed clue revealed anything to me. my head is completely empty when I consume these stories.

Title: Some exciting new literary genres 1. Romantasy. A warrior says to a goblin prince “I love you but I must slay the dragon who ate my father!” 2. Gothicookery. A vampire in a kitchen says “Step one: slice an onion by the light of a full moon” 3. Dystopiano music. A figure in a hazmat units sits at a piano in a blasted wasteland playing Beethoven’s pastoral symphony. 4. Whodunnitalian phrasebook. A detective stands by a corpse and says “Assassinato! In una stanza chiusa a chiave!” 5. Sci-Finance. A robot says to a bounty hunter “Our shares in the evil galactic empire are up ten percent!”

Book Review: Death on the Nile, Agatha Christie

Book Review: Death On The Nile, Agatha Christie

My favorite quote of the book:

"—[...] le ruego encarecidamente, le suplico que [...] ¡No abra su corazón al mal! [...] Porque, si lo hace, el mal vendrá... Sí, con toda seguridad, vendrá. Entrará en su corazón, establecerá en él su morada y, a los pocos instantes, no habrá fuerza humana que lo desaloje..." ~Hercule Poirot

My Full Review:

Pending review, I will surely revisit once I'm done with all of the books from AC that I bought.
