You ever just feel like making an entire story, turning it over and over in your head, maybe even write stuff down, then one day just randomly say “fuck it” and write a lot and forget your entire life for a hot minute? Yeah. Me too.
Just finished writing the prologue and first chapter of Orion. I feel 1) accomplished, 2) tired, and 3) Woobity woobity woobity
While working out yesterday I had the idea for a fic where instead of Pyrrha dying, she goes into this really suspicious coma, that leaves doctors puzzled (its magic dumdums) and this causes all the same mourning in rwby and jnr because she's basically dead? Like even the top scientist in atlas are like "lmao we don't know if she'll ever wake up, but she's still alive even when not on life support so... ???"
And the only scene that really changes is when the group is in Argus and instead of her memorial they go see her and its just as sad because she hasn't moved since the fall and like... its her! Shes there! but she really isn't. Shes gone, and not even Oz knows what magic has her under
But then after vol 9 rwbyj come back from the ever after and she's awake
trying. new. things! (tears fall as I do)

I have been trying to finish a WIP for the longest time. And usually when I read something it’s like: 11k? that’s like an hour of reading at most, that’s so short.
But now that I’m trying to edit 11k and make some sense of what I had in mind while writing it, I’m like goddamn that’s so many words. Why are there so many???
Me: I hate writing. Writing sucks.
Also me: Have been writing since I was a child, have developed hardly any other hobbies.

I've loved what I've been reading so far personally. Not a single one have I read and been like wow they forgot a period, or man that was brutal to read.
