This is a random thought going through my head and a very late drabble I may add to my large genshin fic with a god reader but here we go!

As Marcel ran up to the Traveler, Paimon and Y/n he begged them to take him to the fountain that held his lover. The officer was dumbfounded at the insane man's request. Neuvillette stoically walked up, witnessing this request.
It left him confused, why would a man give up everything, even his own life, just to see one person again? Out of his own curiosity Neuvillette allowed it offering to accompany them, but before the group could go to the fountain Y/n had spoke up. His tone was of a rare seriousness.
"Before you go to the fountain that holds your lover within its waters, I must warn you I can not protect you from the bitter waters that flow. The poison it holds is not something to be trifled with. Head this warning, and if you chose to ignore it, it will only deepen the pain in your heart and the madness you have sewed for yourself. Now I ask if you still wish to go to that fountain, with the waters that you have poisoned."
Neuvillette looked at Y/n with fascinated eyes. This was not the man he once new from long ago, the oblivious immortal being that only ever wished for peace and goodness. Marcel begged Y/n to take him, ignoring the warning. Neuvillette walked by Y/n, as Aether, Paimon, and Marcel walked ahead of them.
"What did your warning mean, Y/n."
Y/n looked into Neuvillettes eyes, he saw the pain in those e/c eyes, not knowing how to respond. It shook Neuvillette's core to see such a sweet boy have such sorrow in his eyes. Y/n looked forward, staring at Marcel, as he spoke in a hushed tone.
"The voices we heard were not of Marcel's lover, but the rage of the women that he's hurt. They didn't deserve that pain, the fate they were given. My warning was of the rage filled spirits that flow in the fountain. I could feel the pain that drips, causing the water to hold poison."
Neuvillette only nodded in response, silence no gracing the two as they walked in tandem. It surprised Neuvillette how much Y/n grew from long ago, feeling proud of how he's matured. Once the group had reached the fountain, Y/n's warning had became truth.

Genshin impact x male god reader
The first god to ever be sent from the heavens, living with dragons and the like from the start. Living with the Seven Sovereign, an honorary dragon he became. He learned to love all life, being older than most of the Archons that live now. Only for his memory to be wiped as his mother died. Only the rage and resentment of the man that took his mother's life. As he sought out the man, he started to adopt the children that were abandoned and hurt by their families. Now new memories replaced those that he lost. But his power was still there, small in strength as the full extent of them was locked behind the memories he needed to regain. But a traveler comes along and helps him get back the life he lost, to become the most powerful god in all of Teyvat.

Other notes: Y/n was born along with the Seven Sovereigns, becoming an honorary dragon. He is able to form wings on his back to imitate dragon wings. Y/n has the power to see people's future, but it is just a brief vision, and it is always changing. Y/n forgot the powers he once had due to his mother hiding away his memories. His memories were hidden out of fear of his powers being used against him and being too dangerous for Y/n to handle on his own. Y/n see's ghosts and often helps those that want to move on. He also connects with them and brings a sense of happiness to lonely spirits. He is able to use the elements, but once he remembers his past. There is a reminence of the elemental power, but it isn't as strong as they used to be. Y/n knows all the gods, both before and after the Archon war and morns those that died during the war. He is often seen wearing a white two piece with a short crop top and a skirt, to resemble what his father once wore. It is mistaken that he is the ghost of Windrise because of his white apparel and his singing. Y/n wears more loose close that flow in the wind because of his brother and father.

Ei was sat under a gorgeous blooming tree. She long missed her sister, after her death her world was small and dull. Y/n slowly walked over, seeing Ei sit in solemn feelings under the blooming tree. Y/n sat himself, sitting on the soft grass that tickled his legs. Ei looked over, her eyes lighting up, seeing her closest friend still here. She had feared that he had left, leaving her alone with no one around.
Y/n was the only one that could understand her pain, her sorrows. Tears welled in her purple eyes, trying to resist the urge to hug Y/n tightly. The resisting went ignored as Ei gave in. She threw her harms around Y/n's smaller stature, holding him tightly. Tears fell onto Y/n's shoulder as he pat Ei's head. He could only softly smile, empathizing with Ei's loss. He took a soft breath before softly refering to Ei.
"My dear Ei, it will be alright. Makoto is still watching over you. She isn't truly gone because her influence is deep-rooted in the very soil of Inazuma."
Ei couldn't help but cry even more at Y/n's words. She buried herself deeper into the crook of his neck, attempting to qualm her anxieties of Y/n leaving. She couldn't bring herself to even think of scenarios where Y/n isn't there. A few moments passed as the wind had picked up ever so slightly. The leaves from the tree started to gently fall, sticking to the two gods' hair.
Ei released Y/n from her tight hug, but gently guided him to her thighs. She sat on her knees, as she gently placed Y/n's head on her thighs. Y/n giggled gently and closed his eyes, enjoying the moment with Ei. The electro god as tangled her fingers within the boy's h/l h/c hair, finding it to be softer than flower petals. A small smile tugged on her lips. This moment was something she wanted to last and perserve within her eternity.
