This drawing take me one year! And I’m proud of this one!

“Ying, Mon Oc adoré,

Je t'ai laissé tant de fois te faire malmener.

J'aurais dut arrêter de te dessiner,

Te laisser tranquille, en paix.

Mais je n'ai pu t'accorder ça,

Car je ne voulais pas donner raison aux rageurs d'Internet ici bas.

Et j'ai bien fait,

Car maintenant que je te regarde, tout est parfait.

Sans toi jamais je n'aurais si m'affirmer,

Et encore aujourd'hui je serais encore dans une dépression non mérité.

Remercie ceux qui ont cru en toi et moi,

Et qui m'ont appris à avoir confiance en soit.

Car eux aussi ont su qui ne fallait pas que j'abandonne face aux mots,

Car cela aurait été aussi lâche que tout ceux qui les crachent dans le caniveau.

Grâce a toi, à eux et à mes proches,

J'ai su voir que j'avais un avenir un peu moins moche.

Plus jamais je n'abandonnerais un Oc comme je l'ai fais,

Avec la belle, douce et pauvre Lindsay, qui n'avais rien demandé.

Car le prochain qui essayera de t'approcher,

Sera effacé, comme on a tenté de le faire sur toi dans le passé.”

Little text for my Ying who is almost 4 years old. I have made her see so much in many of her worlds and yet she is still there. I can not say how I did not give up but I have no regrets. I intend to keep her with me for life and create new adventures with her!
