🐯"16 years? I grew up with my grandmother for about 15 years. My mom and dad had a hard time with work, so my grandmother raised me. When I was little, I think I slept in my grandmother's room every day, hugging her in my arms.

I slept holding a pen and imagining the pen as a sword. When I woke up in the morning, my grandmother's face and my face were scribbled. I was scolded by my grandmother.
🐯My grandmother used to serve Bacchus (a local energy drink) when guests came, and it was my life pleasure to drink it secretly at dawn. I got in a lot of trouble for that. She was going to give it to the guest, but I drank it all.

🐯My grandmother died suddenly because she was sick. It was when I was performing.
I thought I was going to cry. I had a hard time.
🐯I hope my grandmother's eyes will capture me performing in the midst of many ARMYs.
I wanted to show her me this big, but I couldn't.
🐯I have memories of my grandmother in a pretty place in my heart.

🐯: (My album) /It's layover. I think there's no straight line to my life's final destination. So (this album's title) implies that I, who'd been just running non-stop, look back and think about what I am good at, what I like and reach that destination at slower/steady pace.

🐯 I wasn't able to meet everyone because we all had busy schedules, but I was able to show it to our J-Hope-hyung who is doing his military duty and to Jungkook.
YJS: What was their reaction?
🐯 That it's very fresh! That they're really happy I was able to find music that really suited me.
🐯 And I even recorded music at Jungkook’s home. We did it with Jungkook looking over the directing.

🐯 I kind of think that I didn't have the skills back then and I thought that I should work hard to do better like the other members so that I wouldn't be a burden on them.
🐯 It was a big motivation.
🐯 Ah, if they do that, I have to follow them. It was like that. They worked really hard and did really well and were so cool. They were my friend, my hyungs, and my dongsaeng, but when they were preparing for the stage and were performing, they were more amazing than anyone.
🐯 And so I think always look at them and learn from them.
🐯 Because of our members, my personality changed a lot. Long ago, if someone threw a rock at me, I'd say, "It hurts, it hurts", and I'd be in pain and struggle by myself and that struggle would show.
🐯 But I thought many times that I couldn't let that small rock knock me down. I'm one person out of seven after all. That one person can't be weak. I have to become strong. I think that's how I came to be strong.

Q. Do you remember what you did with your first paycheck?
🐻: My dad had a clothing business for a very long time. In order to get the clothes, he would have to go to the Dongdaemoon market in Seoul at dawn, and come back and sell them. He was doing this, and since he was constantly driving, it was a lot of distance. I went on a trip with my dad once, and I looked over and saw that it said 500,000 km (on the dashboard).

🐻: I thought I should get my dad a new car even if it's just once. So I traded out his car for a new one
