God, they're both such sweethearts. They never had anyone to coddle to this degree, always focused on simply surviving and their duty as soldiers, but the moment they find you? They're naturally so damn thoughtful and romantic, even if they try to make it look casual at first, as if they're not meant for soul-crushing devotion.
"Oh? These are pretty." You compliment the bouquet of flowers he already placed in a vase, wanting to keep them alive for you for as long as possible. You're so busy admiring the pretty flowers and leaning down to smell them that you don't hear him getting up from the couch, only realizing he's right behind you when his arms wrap around your waist, bringing you in for a hug and taking a deep breath to inhale your scent.
"Thought of you." His voice is much more relaxed than when you both first met, feeling completely at peace with you. He plants gentle kisses along the back of your neck, holding you close while his brown eyes look at the big bouquet he bought, every single flower and color perfectly chosen to represent your relationship and his feelings for you.
"I love you so much." He doesn't notice anything is wrong until he feels your body shaking, quickly and carefully turning you around while his warm hands go to your cheeks, making you look up at him. Your tears making him slightly nervous— did he fuck up?
"I love you too." You manage to say before a choked sob leaves your lips, arms wrapping around their waist while your face is buried on his chest. He's so utterly confused, but he still holds you close, one hand running up and down your back soothingly while the other one cradles your head.
"Shh, it's okay, love." He reassures, planting gentle kisses on the top of your head and waiting patiently until you stop crying. His eyes soften when you explain how much what he does means to you, melting on the inside from having such a lovely girlfriend. He doesn't mention the ring buried into this closet, hidden underneath a pile of clothes.

Plz follow these people if you can, they are doing great in their own ways and some are further on their paths than others. It doesn't matter where you are, what matters is the want to push forward! Everyone mentioned shouldn't be compared to eachother, instead they should be followed and praised for what they have and will accomplish!!
