So a while ago, I was thinking about all the times Yugo kinda ditched his brother To save dally. And at first, I was all like “WHAt tHe HeLll YugO?! U woRrYinG uR BRo” but then.

I thought about it.

Dally dies or almost dies…like… 3 times. (Maybe more??)

Yugo sees these happen, and while he didn’t see dally die in season one, he felt dally die. A person who Yugo felt was a good friend and brother. Dead. This is the first time Yugo sees dally die. When he sees Percidal again, very much alive, it turns out that rubilax had possessed his body. Leaving Yugo to think that dally probably is still dead. Then the whole dally is saved, now fast forward.

dally’s arm bitten off by a dragon, possibly dead. Yugo sees it all, and if this show was allowed to have blood, we all know that it would be crimson all over the rocks. We all know if this was in any way realistic, dally would be VERY close to death due to the blood loss. And we all know that if Yugo hadn’t taken the dofu eggs, our beloved red-head would be long gone. Now adamai likes dally to an extent, and is saddened by the fact that dally will probably die. But he looks at the bigger picture and honestly, he and dally never really had any heart to heart moments.

which is why it was so easy for adamai to brush it off and not give Yugo the dofu’s. But, Yugo had already felt dally die before. Do you REALLY think he’s gonna let that happen again?? No. That’s not an option for him. So the scene comes up AGAIN where he hurts his brother with his actions, which leads to the last death.

when adami drops dally off a cliff, it makes perfect sense why it was so easy for him to do so. Yugo always ditched him for dally. He would rather save dally than his brother. And you know, I used to be so mad at Yugo. For ditching his brother and literally anything I could get my hands on. Dally is basically the first REAL death that he comes by. They just got him back the first time. Then they ALMOST LOSE HIM THE SECOND. Of COURSE yugos gonna choose dally. The poor kid has already seen him die once, and it doesn’t help that he gets hurt so often. Adamai is a fucking dragon. Dally is just a flesh bag with some muscles. Who do you think has a better chance of surviving if left alone? Yugo never wants dally to get hurt again. In all, Yugo most definitely has trauma from all of the occurrences of dally getting killed, and will protect him with his life.

and he needs a hug.
