I just made my first Agender Pride Bracelet!

I was a little worried at first since my bracelet was very short with only the flags colour & pronouns, and thought about what elements to add. I coudn't think of anything, an became uncomfortable fast, thinking: 'the element has to be about your gender (identity), you can't just add random stuff.

And then I thought 'fuck it, its my fucking bracelet about me i want it to be pretty

by the time it was finished, i realised that that was the best thing i could have done.

This bracelet was never made to show people my gender, but my lack thereof.

Which is why adding elements defined by me and my interests was so fucking satisfying. This bracelet is about me.

The Mirrorball Bead is for Taylor Swifts Song 'Mirrorball', and what it means to me.

The White/Orange Bead is for my emotional state, and happyness.

The White Bead reminds me of a Jewlery pice a person dear to me frequently wears.

The Star Bead stands for everything i like about me.

The lilac one stands for lavender, my favourite flower, which is a connection between my childhood me and the me now.)

This bracelet is about me, and that knowledge felt so empowering.

Fuuuuuck Im having AroAce Problems capital P

I tried to explain to an allosexual/romantic ally friend of mine that im having a astethic/sensual attraction crush on a mutual friend of ours, and eather they think of me as a weirdo now or just decided not to think about it to much.

Like, I explained (way too exited, btw) how much i liked the crushs body shape, and how pretty their jawline (so soft!!) was and i must have sounded posessed (how do allos do this?) just to use my fav. aroace crush metaphor (aka. 'the painting') later to explain that even though they are beautiful and i want to cuddle them to death, i am not sexually attracted to them.

Imagine a friend gushing about your other friends curves and body shape, and then being like 'naaaaw i don't wanna fuck them, i just think they're neat' like yeah shure totally.

After I realised what i had done, and how my explanation might have been percived by an alloally, i just died a little.
