Small detail in Shadow house manga that I can't believe I missed

(spoilers)

Anyone who's read the Manga of Shadow's house knows that Anthony (AKA Christopher) killed off Maggie and Margaret and we all saw how he did it specifically with Maggie he slit her throat

Well in order to make it clear that Louise and Lou's unification failed, he used a fake body in order to make it look like they lost control and died however there's a small detail on the body that should have pointed me to the fact that this body was someone we've seen before

Despite the fact that the hair was curly just like Lou's hair it looked very similar to Lou, pay close attention to the zoom in shot of the living doll and you'll notice this doll has a cut on her neck

(Here's where the spoilers come in):

Anyone who's read the most recent chapters knows that Anthony has already admitted to using Maggie's body as the fake Lou's body in order to make it look like their unification was a failure, however that cut on the body was the smoking gun that should have made me realize that sooner after all he slit Maggie's throat and where else what he had gotten a fake body from even if he had made it why would they bring so much attention to that small detail

Because as the manga reveals it's not crafted body but rather a body of an actual child who died meaning that we all should have noticed this but it was such a small detail that we all overlooked it until it's revealed

I say the creator of shadows house is incredibly sneaky I like that

I actually thought at the end of chapter that it was creek who found branch instead of king peppy. Since creek is such a free spirited troll I assumed that he likes to roam freely and explore unsupervised.

How exactly would the other strings be even aware of Branch's existence in the first place unless the strings have sort of mental connection wit one another? Which would explain a lot actually.

Do u think that now peppy had "introduced" the pop string to branch, will the string try to attach itself to branch wit any chance it could get?

And do u mind sharing the ideas u had in mind (only if it's comfortable with u)

First of all I love getting questions from you guys so don't be shy to ask more it's going to take me a while to upload more chapters though cuz school is the worst

Anyway on to answering those questions

Okay so your idea of Creek being the one to find Branch was indeed true. I have a huge hatred towards Creek specifically of how they handled him in both the TV show and movie so I wanted to change up his role a little bit in my story

And as for the other strings and branches connection to them it's not just Branch being introduced to the string themselves, branch has to be introduced to the person the strings are connected to specifically (the person who's most likely going to rule over the kingdom they reside with)

For example when he eventually meets Barb he manages to break down her distrustful walls enough to where she's willing to show him the string, he's the first non-rock troll to actually see it and when she uses it to demonstrate her powers she says to him that he's the first troll besides herself that The Rock string has actually reacted to. That's sort of how it works for each of these strings, they know that someone is out there that can help the next future leader deal with their issues but they have to be patient

Branch and Creeks relationship is important as Creek acts as a foil to a lot of characters heck Viva herself also acts as a foil to Clay but I'll explain that later on

And one little side note King Pepe never introduced Branch to the pop string, he brought the pop string out of its hiding spot when he saw that it started playing music all on its own. The string recognized branches existence, but Branch was asleep when he pulled it out. Meaning he didn't know that the pop string was even in his vicinity, Viva herself kept it hidden from him since they're not supposed to show other trolls the string just yet (at this point Poppy herself doesn't even know about the string for obvious reasons)

Big Time spoilers for the most recent shadows house chapter so bear with me

If you're not ready to read this just yet then you know what to do go look at another post of mine or see something else that you find cool but if you are ready for the spoilers then go at your own risk

Everyone's talking about the big moment at the end of the chapter where we see Douglas and Doug not brainwashed

But everyone seems to be forgetting about some very important other characters who could change how the stories going to work moving forward

Louise and Lou are still somewhere inside the children's wing they never drank the coffee because they're currently recovering from what they went through during the chapter "Monster"

What about Rum she's a veiled doll meaning she never drank that awful coffee… will she be ok (also did she ever reunite with Shirley because the last time we saw those two it didn't look like it)

what about Barbara after she was rejected by Anthony she seemed to have been going through a mental spiral plus we never see Barbie's reaction to Christopher and by (proxy Anthony) pressuring Kate into being in a position she doesn't want to be in could be possible that she now is trying to help Kate there's a lot of possibilities that this new chapter has opened up to

One thing this chapter definitely acknowledged (which kind of scared me) was the fact that even if Kate can undo the brainwashing of her own teammates like she did before what's going to happen to them if she does

(to be honest this moment of the manga was my personal favorite because it acknowledges the risks of them breaking their brainwashing too quickly and we get to see all of our favorite characters together again in such a cute manner)

Oh and before I forget

Let's all remember that Mia and Sarah are still lurking around somewhere so be on the lookout for them too

Candy's an adult so she shouldn't be this affected by the coffee brainwashing abilities)

Oh this chapter is a whirlwind and it ended up complicating itself more than it needed to (which is fine if you want to keep the mystery element up I mean I don't mind it means more theories for me) all I recommend is to be careful with that cuz otherwise you might write yourself into a corner Shadow's house author
