Whumpee is chronically stressed and CareWhumper thinks they’re helping by separating Whumpee from anything that might cause them stress.

They’re not allowed in the kitchen to cook or bake, not allowed near any books or TV shows that might make them nervous, not allowed to work or hobbies because ‘you can get carpal tunnel from crotchet’ and ‘if your plants die, you’ll be sad. Isn’t this plastic one just as cute?’

But without adversity, humans are miserable.

Caretaker who has no idea what they’re doing.

They pack the wound with dirt

They move the whumpee with the broken bones

They stuff a wallet in the seizing whumpee’s mouth and restrain them

Caretaker who’s trying their damn hardest, but has no idea how to help Whumpee, and they just end up making it worse

I have a little quirk where if I get hurt or scared, I sort of force my yelp/ scream to be like a riff/ sing? I don’t actually know if I do it on purpose but it got me thinking…

Whumper who either acquired a Whumpee who already sings when hurt or scared, or who trains their Whumpee to.

What does Whumper want with something so specific? Well to put on a concert for all their friends of course!
