Latest Measurements I stepped on the scales today and got out the tape measure to see where I am at the start of the new year. Weight: 102.7kg Body Fat: 27.7% Muscle: 34.1% Chest: 117cm Waist: 110cm Biceps (relaxed): 37cm Thighs: 66cm Goals so far for 2018; Weight: 100kg Body Fat: 25%

Progress review

I was just reviewing some of the records I made of weight and measurements over the past few years.   In November 2015 I weighed 102kg (225lb) with a 107cm (42-inch) chest and 116cm (46-inch) gut. In December 2016 I weighed 108kg (238lb) with a 120cm (47-inch) chest and 116cm (46-inch) gut. In November 2017 I weigh 101.5kg (223lb) with a 116cm (46-inch) chest and 107cm (42-inch) gut. I wonder what the numbers will be in November 2018?

Feeling big, bulky and strong after today’s gym session. I’ve been five days in a row, it’s going to be seven days before I have a rest. It seems to be working.

Since Sunday I’ve done chest, back, legs, chest and back. Legs again tomorrow.

Celebrating A New Personal Record At The Gym. 5 Sets Of 3 Rep At 100kg, Followed By 5 Sets Of 6 Rep At

Celebrating a new personal record at the gym. 5 sets of 3 rep at 100kg, followed by 5 sets of 6 rep at 80kg.  About a year ago a chest routine would have been 4 sets of 12 rep at 60kg.

Welcome to my journey

I thought I’d create a tumblr blog to document my bodybuilding progress.  I’m working on my strength and fitness.

I’m currently 222lb (100.5kg) with a personal best bench press of 102.5kg.  My training focusses on the powerlifting disciplines of bench press, dead lift and squats.

My goal is to add more muscle and drop a bit more body fat but I’m not looking to get super lean; I prefer the bulky look.
