It will take a while into the relationship for him to be comfortable enough to sleep with you on the same bed. Poor baby would probably be too embarrassed the first few times (although he would try to not show it). He would try not to get too close to you and would be too nervous to intimate anything.

The first time that you two slept next to each other he was a bit awkward and just opted to hold your hand instead of cuddling. He does eventually gain more confidence and shuffles up next to you for a hug, to which you happily reapociate, although he still doesn't know where to put his hands so they just waver above your body for a few seconds before he lowers them down on your waist.

After a couple more times, he'll get more comfortable around you and will even rest his head against your shoulder or neck. He's definitely touch-starved so expect yourself to find him subconsciously cuddling even closer to you when he's drifting off to sleep!

There isn't really any big spoon or little spoon while cuddling. You both just wrap your arms around the other and/or hold each others hands. Although he won't be opposed to being the big spoon if you had a bad day or just need some comfort in general.

This boy will notice immediately if there's a slight change in your demeanor, and will confront you about it (in private of course) but whether or not you want to tell him, is all up to you. Either way, he will do his best to cheer you up. He knows he's not the best at comforting but he'll still try to whisper some assuring words in your ear while cuddling together.

He isn't one to attempt a lot of physical affection but you'll feel him plant a soft kiss on your forehead when he thinks you've drifted off to sleep

Give him some affection in return and litter his pale cheeks with some kisses and his cheeks will turn as red as his hair

Riddle is a quiet and peaceful sleeper so don't worry about him snatching your blanket or rolling on top of you while sleeping. It's most likely that you'll find him in same position that you remember him sleeping in.

Riddle is also an early riser so usually he's the one who will wake up first. Although that doesn't mean you haven't woken up before him a few times before. And it's truly an adorable sight when you do, since you get to see his cute bed hair!

His red heart shaped strand will be sticking out all over the place as he rubs his eyes sitting up before he catches you staring at him and blushes slightly, embarrassed, patting his hair down, knowing what you were looking at

Overall, this boy is such a sweetheart to cuddle with. Would recommend 10/10 <3

Hi👋🏻👋🏻👋🏻 I have seen these scenes in anime before where you go to wake up someone in the morning, but instead of them waking up they grab you and hug you tightly to them. I would love to see a scene like that with Riddle where the reader goes to wake him up since Trey was busy doing other things, but they end up getting grabbed by Riddle and hugged tightly by him, you can make it where Riddle wakes up and just flushes red, and the reader gets scared thinking he will “off with their head”, but instead he apologies to the reader and thanks them for coming to wake up. Thank you😁

Mornings in Heartslabyul were wild. There were always students running about, terrified of the dorm head catching them slacking in any way, shape, or form. Days like today were always busier, as there was an Unbirthday Party approaching and not everyone had finished the jobs they had been assigned. Trey, who normally would have finished his duties last night, was one of these students, as he had gotten caught up in helping the first years who accidentally turned the roses to dust instead of turning them red.

It was getting later and later when he finally realized he completely forgot to wake Riddle up. With a pleading expression, he asked you to please go wake up your boyfriend, insisting that he shouldn't react too angrily if it was you he saw first thing. For some reason, you agreed.

Sunlight was peaking through the curtains and streaming into Riddle's bedroom. The lighting was gorgeous and illuminated the skin on his blissfully sleeping face. He looked so cute and cozy wrapped up in his blankets and it made you hesitate slightly about waking him up. Pausing for a moment, you glanced at the clock beside his bed. It was already late, you should stop stalling and wake him up, you thought with a sigh.

You sat delicately on his bed beside him. He was turned away from you, facing the window. You reached out and lightly grasped his shoulders, shaking him softly. He rolled over, now facing you, and you thought he was waking up properly. You shook him again, a little firmer this time, trying to wake him up so he wouldn't be late.

To your surprise, your boyfriend instead wrapped his arms around you with surprising strength. He held on tightly, nuzzling his face against you and mumbling something you couldn't quite make out. You were stunned for a moment before having to stifle a laugh at how cute he is. You never thought this was how your morning would play out.

Your boyfriend was surprisingly hard to wake. He seemed to be in an incredibly deep sleep as he held onto you tightly and, every now and then, would mutter something incomprehensible. You couldn't help but wonder what he was dreaming about as you shook him more.

Shaking him again, you spoke up a little bit louder, the mirth evident in your voice. This was quite an amusing situation, after all. Your shoulders were practically shaking as you tried so hard to keep your laughter in so you wouldn't tick him off the second he woke up. Finally, his eyes open.

Riddle blinked for a moment, his eyes bleary as he rubbed at them softly. His arms slowly let go of you and he looked at you for a moment, his face growing redder and redder with every passing second. For a moment, you feared he was going to chop off your head with his magic.

To your surprise, he simply turned his head away from you, his clenched fist pressed up against his pursed lips. His face was completely red and he couldn't bring himself to even look in your general direction. You weren't sure if you'd ever seen him this embarrassed before.

He cleared his throat. "Thank... thank you for waking me up," he began quietly, his eyes still fixated on his blanket instead of on you. "I am... I am truly sorry you had to see me in such a state."

At that, you could no longer hold in your laughter. You giggled with glee and patted him good-naturedly on his back. "Oh, Riddle," you laughed. "There's nothing to be sorry about! I really didn't mind and you were incredibly cute."

Maybe it was because you two are behind closed doors. Maybe it was because he was in love with you. Either way, instead of blowing up at you, Riddle's face only grew redder and his body only grew tenser. Maybe Trey was right; it was a good thing you went to wake Riddle instead of someone else today.

🌹 Birthday boy! Riddle Rosehearts x Reader

Note: I decided to stop accepting requests, but I've got a small idea for this precious boy, so I hope you'll like this piece, @otakuclaud~

It's already past midnight, and Riddle is peacefully sleeping in his bed. Until a strange noise wakes him up. It sounds like knocking. Riddle writes it off to some animals that don't sleep at night. But the knocking continues a few times and on his dorm window. The boy pushes away the blanket, stands up from the bed and cautiously comes closer to the window. He can swear that he sees a silhouette on the outside. He's about to reach out for his magical pen, but the closer he comes to the window, the easier it becomes for him to distinguish the figure outside.

Riddle opens the window. But before he manages to open his mouth, a voice can be heard:

"Good night, Riddle. I'm happy to see you!"

The boy is confused.

“[Name]? What are you doing here? Do you know what time it is?"

You grin at him.

"Of course, I know. That's why I came here!"

The boy looks even more confused. But with a gesture, you ask him to bend in your direction. Riddle, leaning on the windowsill with his elbows, bends his torso toward you and tilts his head closer to you. At this moment, standing on your tiptoes, you cup his face and kiss his lips. Riddle gasps from the surprise, but doesn't move over. His heartbeat has increased, and a blush is adorning his face now.

A few seconds later, you pull away, still holding his face in your hands.

"Happy birthday, Riddle," you whisper against his lips. The boy quietly giggles.

"Is this the reason you came? You could've waited till morning to tell me this."

You shake your head.

"I wanted to be the first one who would say those words to you."

You kiss him again, and Riddle reciprocates the kiss more eagerly. He clearly is enjoying it.

You pull away, taking away your hands from his face, and the boy quietly whines. You giggle at him.

"Don't worry, birthday boy, I'll give you as many kisses as you want in the morning," you wink at him, and he blushes more. But before Riddle dares to open his mouth to protest, you hand him a present box.

"Here, I want you to take this!"

"Wow," Riddle takes the box. He curiously looks at it.

"It's for you to find out what's inside! I hope you will like it," you say bashfully. "Happy birthday again!" You clap your hands. "And now, I'll take my leave."

"Wait!" Riddle says before you walk away. "Don't forget to come to the party! It's not the Queen of Hearts' law; I want you to be present there!"

Squatting, you bow to him, and with a big smile you say:

"Yes, your Majesty!" And after that, you both giggle. "Don't worry, I'll surely be there. How can I not? Have a good night, Riddle," you wave at him and take your leave.

Riddle closes the window, and with the box in his hands, he sits down on his bed. He turns on the bedside lamp and starts to open the box carefully, not to tear it apart accidentally.

Eagerly, Riddle gets out things of the box that you put there for him. But he didn't expect to receive so many things as a gift. In the box, there are some puzzle books, a rose keychain, a hedgehog figure, some handmade bookmarks, some candies and a handmade birthday card.

His heart is melting. He takes the card and begins to read it:

Today is a special day for a special guy, the most important person in my life! I wish you the best. May all your dreams come true. From the bottom of my heart, I love you, Riddle. Happy birthday!

Riddle feels his eyes become wetter from the sweet words you wrote for him. He puts the card to his chest and smiles. This year's birthday is definitely going to be the best, and he can't wait to spend it with you.
