I like to go on a big bender on my birthday, like, enough to make me forget what century I’m in. I always have shit days at work on my birthday—I have to do a birthday stream, and then special OnlyFans photoshoots, and then when I get home my mum will likely call and ask me to move back to Essex, again, because she hates the fact that I live all the way down in Winchester now. I usually need at least three Woo woos and a baggie of ketamine to get me through the night.

2.) Where do you go when you need to unwind?

I used to go to the rooftop of my apartment building, but Phoebe, Hades and Theia like using it as a training ground for Blue Moon and I, so now I go to the rooftop of the cathedral, or to Sugar Berry, this patisserie at the edge of town. It’s always quiet in there, and it’s close to the VSweeties studios, so I can always go there if I’ve had a bad day at work…Which is almost every day.

3.) Have you ever meditated?

No. I don’t believe in that mindfulness stuff, it’s a waste of time because it doesn’t solve your problems. Meditation isn’t going to get me out of my horrible job, or help me defeat Orpheus and Eurydice. Or make my mum stop begging me to move back to Essex…

1. What do you think is the meaning of life?

Life is to enjoy each moment, big and small. To feel the sun on my face, the wind on my wings, and the rain on my skin. To experience joys and sorrows, ups and downs, ins and outs—to just be—unshackled, unwavering, undeniably me.

2. What do you think is your biggest weakness?

I guess I can be a bit naive and too trusting at times, haha….I just like seeing the best in people ✨

3. Do you consider yourself a risk taker?

Not often, but had I not escaped the Heavenly Realms and flown to Earth, I would never have experienced the joys that this realm has to offer. The beauty of nature, the people…Ita….I can’t imagine life without him now.

Thanks for the tag! I’ve already done this with Ariel and Solana’s casual outfits, but now I wanna give a little insight as to what their magical girl outfits look like. I don’t have official designs for them yet, but this is just a bit of inspo as to what I have in mind while writing them.

I built Ariel’s entire persona as Blue Moon around her fighting style. Ariel’s weapon is a torch that allows her to launch bright and flashy lasers at her enemies by swinging it like a gymnastics ribbon, so I wanted Ariel’s outfit to look graceful and delicate, but practical at the same time. She is canonically a ballerina, so ballet shoes were a must, and paired with a tutu, her outfit allows her as much freedom of movement as possible. You will die if you try to fight her, and she’ll look graceful and elegant while she’s killing you:

As for Solana, her fighting style doesn’t require as much movement as Ariel’s, so I had a little more creative leeway with her. She gets her powers from Theia, the titaness of sight, jewels and radiance, so I wanted her outfit to be very bright and to have a lot of heavy jewellery. We have to get rid of the people who actually threatened mine, and our son’s lives!” Orpheus hissed into his phone, “That man was threatening to make my money-laundering scandal public! That girl was an X user nobody cares about! Get your arse over here, and possess someone who deserves to be thrown in jail for murder!” 

Red Sun raised her lyre. “That’s our guy, no question about it.”

Orpheus hung up and looked over at the pair, seemingly pleased by their appearances. He probably thought that they were goddesses coming to his aid. “To whom do I owe the pleasure, ladies? Did Hades send you to help me with my work?” 

Ariel held out her torch in front of her. “We’re Blue Moon, and Red Sun. We’re the chosen champions of the titans.”

He cocked his head at them both. “Oh?”

“We know what you’re doing, and Phoebe, Theia and Hades sent us to stop you,” Ariel continued, “Surrender now, and give us the bracelet you borrowed from Hades, and we might be able to convince him to have mercy on your soul.”

Stepping inside, a kaleidoscope of visual delights greeted Cara. Vibrant posters adorned the walls, showcasing the fierce female soccer players mid-action, their faces adorned with determined expressions frozen in time. Interspersed among them were the familiar faces of beloved musicians, their smiles capture in glossy, detailed images. A repeating one that Cara herself loved was the band, Tegan and Sara. In all of their glorious eighties-like style. In the corner, a small desk beckoned with its organize chaos. A laptop sat open, casting a gentle blue hue on the surrounding area. A phone, plugged into its charger, emitted a soft song that Cara didn’t recognize. Stacked neatly beside them was a collection of well-loved, creased young adult fantasy novels, their colorful spines whispering tales of adventure and escape.

Snippet Time!

Here’s a snippet from Night Of The Blue Moon, my wlw fantasy novel about adult magical girls!

“I have to go. I have a lot to do tomorrow.”

“What is it that you can’t tell me?” Solana demanded, “Why can’t you tell me?”

“I said I have to go. Stop pushing me for an answer, because I don’t know you well enough to have this conversation with you right now.”

“Why won’t you answer me? Don’t you trust me?” Solana cried, “I’m supposed to be your partner aren’t I? Why can’t you trust me?!”

“It’s not because I don’t trust you, it’s because I don’t want to have this conversation tonight. I can’t do it.”

“Why can’t you? Why do you feel the need to push me away”--

Solana stopped dead in her tracks when Blue Moon looked back at her. Tears were streaming down her face. The look in Blue Moon’s eyes was almost one of betrayal, like she’d broken some unspoken rule between them. 

“I…I’m sorry. I shouldn’t have asked,” Solana eventually said, “We can talk about it when you want to talk about it. Or we could just never speak of this again, and”--

“I’m leaving now. I will see you whenever we’re needed next,” Blue Moon said coldly, turning away from her, “Go home before it gets too late.”

Solana swallowed hard, knowing that she’d fucked up big time, and that it would take a long time for their…Whatever the fuck it was, to recover from this. Blue Moon was in no mood to forgive her, not that she deserved it right now. “Right. Get home safe,” she called after her, though was almost certain that Blue Moon wasn’t listening.

Nothing, but no one’s interested in my soul anyway, except for Orpheus, and there’s no fucking way that I’d let him have it.

Not much, I’m already snapped and broken beyond repair. I would crumble into dust if Orpheus won, and he got his shithead rapist son back from the dead.

3.) Do the shadows follow you?

No, I’m completely sober. The only people I know who claim to be chased by shadow people are people who are high on something. Not even Hades is followed by shadows—He’s just followed by ghosts. And his lampad servants…

Solana is a 25 year old Vtuber and sex worker, best known for her role as Akai Starlight, an alien goddess Vtuber signed to the UK’s top Vtuber agency, VSweeties. She hates her work at VSweeties, and wants to be able to quit so that she can stop doing sex work, and she’s currently trying to make it as an indie Vtuber under the name Kirameki Sunstone. Despite the difficulties she faces with her work, she maintains a sunny disposition, and she tries to see the best in people. She spends her Sundays volunteering at a food bank near her apartment, as she likes to be able to help those in need.

Solana would suit someone whose idea of a perfect date night is staying in and playing Animal Crossing or Stardew Valley, or eating cheese and drinking wine on a picnic blanket under the light of the full moon. Expect a lot of romance, but little to no sex—Solana’s looking for Gomez and Morticia, not Romeo and Juliet.

Weakness: Legs. Her fighting style requires a lot of movement, so if she becomes immobilised for any reason, she’ll be easier to defeat.

Idle animation: Standing in first position (Heels together, straight legged) with her torch held in front of her chest with her right hand and her left hand behind her back. If no input after five seconds, she’ll rise up en pointe and swing her torch, but no attack animation will play.

Solana/Red Sun:

Health: 8

Strength: 7

Special Attack: Absolute Radiance—Solana plucks the strings of her lyre from right to left, creating golden suns which explode upon contact with the opponent. High damage output with a guaranteed critical hit every time it lands. Has a 10% chance of temporarily stunning the opponent.

Weakness: Upper body/Anything that could cause her to drop her lyre.

Idle Animation: Standing with her lyre balanced on her hip with both hands. If no input after five seconds, she tucks one of her bangs behind her ear.

Solana gave Ariel a mischievous look as a fight scene between the precures and Fusion started to play. “Oh, no, we’re at one of the scary parts!” she said in mock terror, “Can we make out now?”

Ariel looked at her as if she’d asked if the sky was blue. “You don’t have to ask me twice.”

She pressed her lips against Solana’s, wanting to taste all of her, even though she tasted like duck chow mein and sweet and sour pork. Solana matched her rhythm, sighing softly into her mouth as their tongues met. It wasn’t a hungry kiss where their tongues wrestled for dominance, no, it was more of a slow, sensual tango, a dance of love and not lust. Right here, right now, Ariel knew that everything was ok, and that she was safe and loved. She wanted to drown in this moment, and make it last for as long as possible.

Once their pulses no longer rang in their ears, and their hearts were content and full, Ali pulled his head away from the pillow to look endearingly at Noah. Their faces were hot and flushed red…..Noah’s considerably moreso, a generous coating of rouge painting their visage. That same gorgeous face that left Ali smitten upon seeing Noah sleep that first night, more than how Allah already smote him. Gingerly, Ali leaned down to kiss Cauldwell again as Noah hummed in satisfied bliss into his lover’s mouth.
