The First Kiss, It's Flawless

Do You Think You Could Write For Yelena Belova X Reader Sharing Their First Kiss?

Ship: Yelena Belova x Reader Word Count: ~1.8k Description: Yelena's got a crush on you. She wants it to be perfect. Who better to ask than her older sister? (Spoiler: Many people are better to ask) A/N: NOTHING BUT SILLY ROMANTIC FUN FOR MY GIRLS BC THEY DESERVE THE WORLD

Masterlist

11:30am, Manhattan

"Natasha, I'm being serious," Yelena groans, shoving her face into her hands. Her sister was sat next to her on the edge of her bed, awkwardly patting Yelena on the back. When her sister asked for help, and to come to her Brooklyn apartment as soon as possible, the last thing she expected it to be for was romantic struggles.

"And I'm being serious too! You just go with the flow," Natasha says, sighing softly as her free hand pinches her brow.

"That's easy for you to say! Maria asked YOU out!" Yelena was definitely growing more frustrated, owed to the way she flopped her body back onto her bed and pulled a pillow over her face. Natasha rolls her eyes, pulling the pillow away. She earned herself a few daggers glared in return.

"Yelena, Y/N is sweet. The worst they can say is no."

"That's what you and everyone else say! I can think of so many worse things that could-"

There it was, the list of reasons she couldn't take the leap about to tumble forth. Natasha knew it all too well. It was incredibly impressive how in every other aspect of their lives, Yelena led with her head held high. This was a vast departure from that. So, with a sigh, Natasha stood up, stretching, and grabbing her keys and phone from the bed.

"What are you doing?" Yelena asked hastily, pushing herself up onto her elbows.

"Going to play matchmaker." It was a simple plan, really. Feign confused sibling, apologise if it wasn't the case. Easy operation, in and out. To Yelena though, it wasn't.

"Are you out of your mind?" Thankfully, the door was shut, meaning Yelena's shout didn't have the chance to escape the room and echo down the hallways of the apartment building.

"No- Seriously, you have nothing to freak out about! I figure it out for you, and make the opening!"

Before Yelena could object, Natasha was out of the door.

---

Natasha had asked to meet you at some nondescript coffee shop by Central Park. It wasn't out of the ordinary, meeting an Avenger in some otherwise innocuous location. Unlike other times though, this did seem like a genuine encounter. When you arrived, Natasha was already sat outside, with two coffees on a wire table.

"Hey, Nat! It's been a while!"

You'd been friends with the redhead for nearing a decade now - working with the Avengers as an intelligence officer on several occasions. On the third or fourth time, Natasha had taken a shining to you, and the pair of you became close friends.

Being close friends, she had, of course, gotten your coffee order dead on. It was a welcomed warmth in the late winter in New York.

"How've you been, Y/N?" she asks, taking a swig of her coffee. From there, the conversation flowed naturally, as if you'd seen each other yesterday. It was nice, pleasant even. You felt yourself relax into it, smiling as the odd joke came to light.

"Hey, do you mind if I ask you something?"

You furrow your brow, nodding.

"Of course?"

"Forgive me, if I'm overstepping, but I couldn't help but notice- You and Yelena? Are you two-"

A blush blooms across your face, and up your neck. You try and hide it with a sip of your coffee, but you fail miserably, choking slightly.

"What? Oh- No! No, no, no. We're just friends." You laugh nervously, coughing a few times. When you finally meet Natasha's eyes, there's a good natured humour in them. And, obviously, she had seen right through you.

"Is it that obvious?" you say, a frown meeting your expression. You'd thought you had been subtle.

"Afraid so," Natasha replies. This was good news, great news for her sister. An idea sparked though. She'd have to beg Yelena for her forgiveness though.

"You know... Yelena's free this Friday night."

Your brow furrows.

"I don't follow?"

Natasha laughs, setting her empty coffee cup on the table.

"Ask her on a date. I promise it'll go well."

Things clicked into place for you, and you roll your eyes. This was a double agent case. But that meant Yelena liked you back... Oh my god. You reach into your pocket, pulling out your phone.

"You're an asshole, you know that?"

"Hey! I had to play it cool, in case you didn't like her. Would've been really awkward if I was straight up and you weren't into her."

You couldn't argue with that logic. Finally, you find Yelena's contact on your phone, and type up a quick message.

Are you free Friday?

There's a short delay, albeit a touch too short, before Yelena responds.

Yes. Are you suggesting something?

How about a movie at mine? 7pm. Keep it casual. Like a casual date.

Yelena takes a little longer to respond this time. You hear Natasha's phone ding, and look up in time to see her laugh.

"She just called me a motherfucker."

---

Friday came all too quickly, and you found your palms sweating. You're not sure why. Your intentions had been perfectly clear when you messaged Yelena and asked her out. She knew what this was, and you did too. And it wasn't like you didn't know her - you'd warmed up to each other quite quickly once Natasha had introduced you both. Being closer in age to the younger of the sisters would do that.

To top it all off, you already had Natasha's approval. So there was nothing to be afraid of, right?

It was just you and Yelena, in your living room, watching a film.

Romantically.

Not as friends. Very very not as friends.

The microwave beeped from your kitchen, yelling at you that the popcorn had finished.

God, what am I doing?

The microwave opens with a thud when you pull the handle, grabbing the popcorn by the very corner. Holding it over the sink, you shake it a few times to disperse the butter, and get the kernels out. Fondly, you remembered it was Yelena who'd actually taught you that trick.

Finally, you dump it into a large bowl, and take it over to the living room. Netflix was already pulled up. You hadn't yet settled on what film to watch, and you'd be damned if you picked it on your own. Risk her not liking it. On your first date. The very thought sent a shudder through you.

You couldn't linger on it for too long, because the doorbell rung.

"Fuck! 7pm already," you whisper-shout to yourself, carefully dodging around the couch to get to the front door. Habitually, you look through the peephole. You're greeted with a fisheye view of the blonde, and open the door.

"Yelena! Hey!"

Why the fuck are you saying that like you didn't expect to see her. You literally invited her here.

Thankfully, she looked as nervous as you felt. Yelena smiled though, holding up a bag of M&M's.

"Hi. I brought these! Makes popcorn better," she said. "Can I come in?"

"Oh! Yea, of course, sorry!" you jumble out, stepping out of her way. You lock the door behind her as you close it, and follow her as she's already made her was to the living room.

"I didn't know what you wanted to watch, but I made popcorn!"

You're nervously fidgeting with your hands, surveying the living room situation. There were plenty of blankets, and pillows. The coffee table was in reach, with popcorn, and the new bag of M&Ms. You're too busy worrying to catch the soft look Yelena sends your way.

"We can pick off of your Letterboxd, don't you have that watch list? Movies are more your thing," she jokes, settling down with a pillow and blanket in the corner.

You agree, pulling out your phone and settling on the lounge. You're a little too tense, and sitting an almost awkward distance away from her. Not quite in her space, but not quite in yours either. You rattle off a few titles, and don't notice her creeping nearer until a hand rests on your forearm. You look at her.

"How about that one?" she asks, pointing to a movie poster on your phone. You become aware of how close she is.

"Yea... That'll work."

---

It'd happened almost 20 minutes ago now, but your knee was touching Yelena's under the blanket. It felt like electricity arcing up your body when it first happened, but now it had settled to a soft warmth. A pleasant warmth.

When the end credits rolled, Yelena stayed still for a while. Wrapped up in a blanket, leant against the armrest of the sofa.

"Wow. That was a good movie. Good taste," she said, sitting up. You liked the way her accent wove the words together. It made such a simple statement feel like the highest praise.

"Yea!" you say, standing up to take the bowl to the kitchen. "I'm glad I got to watch it with you." It's a tad sappy, but you meant it. Couldn't hurt to say on a first date.

"Do you know what time it is?" she asks from the living room, where she'd rolling up the blanket she had used. Your eyes stray to the microwave, which reads 10:30pm. You relay that information to her.

"Your place is pretty far away... I have a guest room you can use?"

"My my! Getting me to stay the night on our first date, that's very bold."

If she were anyone else, and if you'd known her for any less time, you would've panicked. A faux pas, and you would've passed out. But you could spot the jest in her tone. When you come back to the living room, she's smiling.

"I'd actually really appreciate that," Yelena says. Her tone is lower than before; more authentic. More tender. Simply more.

"Thank you for coming tonight." She looks at you, regarding you with a warmth that went just a step beyond friendship. A new dash of vulnerability.

Her hand rests on your outer forearm that's by your side. It was a sweet touch, an innocent one, too. But it felt perfect. Everything in this moment felt right, and you felt at ease.

"Can I kiss you?" Yelena asks. If you listened closely enough, dissected it with the proverbial knife, there was a touch of fear in her tone. You hadn't heard it, though.

Rather than answering, you lean forward, capturing her lips in yours. Like everything else, it felt right. It was chaste, and didn't last long enough. But for now it would be enough. It was more a promise. A beckoning call forward, a waiting hand.

Yelena's smiling when you pull away. You find yourself smiling too.

You show her to her room for the evening, and before you go to return to your own, you call out behind you.

"Night, Yelena!

Hi! Can you write a Jamie x Dani morning sickness fluff fic?

YESSS BLY MANOR!!! Oh my god I could write essays about how much I love this show!! I'll write it as Dani being the one going thru it, bc honestly, I live for fics where Jamie helps Dani. Also I think that's what you meant (I hope! You can request again with the other way around if that's not it!) I don't have any experience with pregnancy (honestly kind of freaks me out), so I'm just gonna do... Dani sick... in the morning. Basically same plot minus the pregnancy! Hope that's ok

2AM (Who Do You Love?)

Hi! Can You Write A Jamie X Dani Morning Sickness Fluff Fic?

Ship: Jamie Taylor x Dani Clayton Word Count: 1k Description: Dani's ill. Jamie vehemently denies that it was her cooking from the night before that caused it. No Ghosts!AU Warnings: Explicit references to illness, and throwing up.

Masterlist

"Poppins?"

The bed's cold, and the sun hasn't come up yet. Even for up-at-the-crack-of-dawn Jamie, this was early. With a groan, she tosses over, pushing the sheets down enough to move freely. The red lights of her alarm clock stare back at her.

2:00am? Jesus.

Jamie pinches the bridge of her nose, exhaling heavily, and tossing back over. It wasn't a regular occurrence, having Dani up in the middle of the night. Not unless there was a nightmare involved. Given the light shining from the bathroom, Jamie could only infer that her girl would be back soon. Content, Jamie settles back down, shutting her eyes.

Then Jamie hears retching. An ugly kind of sound that travels over the tiles and into the bedroom. Her eyes shoot open, quickly brushing her hair out of her eyes. Jamie waits with bated breath. Watching. Listening. Again, the sound comes, followed by a half choked out sob. Sighing, she pulls back the covers of the bed and gets up, padding quietly to the bathroom door. She knocks.

"Poppins? You alright in there?"

Another retch. A soft cry.

"No..."

"Right, I'm coming in." Jamie's hand meets the handle, pushing the door open slowly, careful not to knock her girlfriend. She spots her quickly, on the ground next to the toilet. The soft amber bathroom light shines off of the thine sheen of sweat across Dani's even paler skin.

"Oh, Poppins," Jamie coos, crouching down to Dani's level. She retches again, curling around the toilet. Quickly, Jamie gathers up her hair, and places her free hand on Dani's back. It was cool to the touch through her sleep shirt, despite the sweat. When Dani pulls away from the bowl of the toilet, shivering, the back of Jamie's hand touches her forehead. Also cold to the touch.

"Well, you don't have a fever. How're you feelin'?"

"Like shit," Dani whispers, voice raw. "But I think... that has passed. The throwing up."

Jamie nods, sitting down fully onto the tiled floor, leaning her back against the adjacent bathtub. Her arms snake around Dani's waist, gently pulling her backwards into her. Dani's head comes to a rest on Jamie's shoulder. A few hairs were slick against her forehead, which Jamie brushed away.

The pair sat like that for a while, Dani against Jamie, and Jamie against the tub. Jamie's warmth seeped into Dani, and slowly the shivers that periodically wracked her body stopped. Though still tense, she melted into Jamie's side.

"I'm sorry for waking you up."

"Don't be, Poppins. I'd rather be up than leave you in this state by yourself," Jamie whispered, pressing a kiss to Dani's hairline.

"Yea, but you have to be up in a few hours," Dani protested, trying to push herself up from Jamie's side. The latter moves with her, brow creasing.

"If you think I'm headin' into work with you like this, you're mad."

Dani frowns, looking at Jamie. Maybe it was the lack of sleep, or the exhaustion finally reaching her brain, but she teared up a little. Call her sentimental, but it was sweet.

"Have any idea what brought it on?"

"Huh?"

"The vomiting, love."

Dani squeezes her eyes shut, nodding.

"Uh, I don't know. Haven't heard of anything going around- maybe it was your cooking?" Dani didn't really mean for it to come out sounding like a dig, but it did. Jamie took it in stride, bringing a hand up to her chest in mock hurt.

"Dani! You wound me!"

"No- that's not what I meant," Dani says, huffing a small laugh and pressing her hand to her face. "God, I'm so tired."

Jamie smiles, reaching forward to pull Dani forward into her arms again.

"Well, considering that I ate the same meal, and I haven't a thing wrong, I don't reckon it was that, Poppins."

Dani nods, humming in agreement. The still-energised part of her brain recalled back to when she was a teenager, rattled with stress. How her body would be wracked with tremors, and force her to the toilet for hours.

"Maybe it was stress?" she offers. There had been a lot going on as of late - with Flora and Miles getting ready to go back to school, the changing of seasons forcing Jamie to spend long hours in the garden. Makes sense.

"Maybe," Jamie muses, pulling away from Dani and leaving her leant against the tub. She stands up, walking briefly to the bedroom to get the glass Dani kept on her nightstand. She dumped the water into the sink, refilling it with fresh tap water.

"You hurting anywhere, love?" Jamie asks over her shoulder, already knowing the answer and reaching for the medicine cabinet. "Feel like you can stomach a couple of pills?"

Dani nodded, taking them gratefully. She works on taking them, while Jamie putters about. A cool cloth touches her forehead, making her flinch.

"Sorry, Poppins. Just figured you'd rather get the sweat off than shower. Do you want new bed clothes?"

A lot of it was a blur; the way that Jamie deftly moved around the space, meeting her needs, asking her what she wanted. If Dani weren't so tired, she'd find it incredibly attractive. By the time she's tucked into bed, with the bin in reach, the clock reads 3:34am. A small part of her still felt guilty.

"I'm sorry again, Jamie-"

"It's alright, Dani. Seriously. The garden isn't gonna die just because I don't show up one day. I can make up the work," Jamie says as she rounds the bed to her side, sliding in. Once settled, she takes Dani's hand - the best she can offer, as it's a bit hard to cuddle with someone who's sitting up. She presses a chaste kiss to the back of it.

"This is your body telling us that we need a short break, yea? Owen and Hannah can hold down the fort without it falling apart."

Dani nods, watching as Jamie settles down.

"Goodnight, Jamie."

"Goodnight, Poppins."

Hello, sorry for bother but I would like to request some Abby x f!reader, the only think I want to read is anything (really anything you want to write) but with a tomboy or butch reader, I’m a little tired that is always a extreme femme reader and if you like, please take this request

If not, then thank you anyway and have a nice day

Oh my god I loveeeee this request! Sorry it's taken me a second to get around to it- I had to write a story for my uni course but absolutely I can do this.

It's Been a While (Since I Have Even Heard From You)

Hello, Sorry For Bother But I Would Like To Request Some Abby X F!reader, The Only Think I Want To Read

Ship: Abby Anderson x Butch!Reader Word Count: 284 Desc: You've changed, in the months since Abby has seen you. It's a good different, though.

Masterlist

"Your hairs' shorter." It was a rather blunt greeting from Abby, especially after 3 months apart. You'd be damned though if you said it was out of character. She seemed almost uncertain, shifting from foot to foot. Her hands were together, fidgeting. You couldn't help the smile that weaselled onto your face. Abby hadn't changed a bit.

"East Coast treated me well. I see you're doing pretty good too," you say, putting your bag down on the bench by the door. Your door. It felt a touch odd to be backed in your shared living quarters in the stadium.

"Not as good without you," Abby comments, slowly easing back into your shared dynamic. You're shedding your jacket, when she finally approaches you to take it. There's a moment of pause, where you're so close that electricity could jump the gap.

"You missed me, then?" "Absolutely I did," Abby whispers, tossing the jacket over to the corner. Finally, she embraces you, strong arms wrapping around your middle. For the first time in a while, you're able to relax.

"I like the hair, by the way," Abby says, pulling back to look at you. "It feels like you."

"Thanks- I wasn't really sure at first. Did it about a month into the trip, but I think that-" You don't get to finish, as Abby finally kisses you. Almost immediately you melt into it, your hands coming to rest on her waist, and hers gently on your neck. It warmed you from the inside out.

"I'm glad you like it, baby," you joke, as you pull away. Her eyes sparkled, as she tugged you further into the space.

"Yea, now let's make up for some lost time."

9:15pm, April 19th

The building was already engulfed in flames by the time your ladder truck finally rolled around. Ambulances were amuck in the street, bussing out civilians half as quick as they flooded in.

"Y/N!"

You whip around to your Lieutenant, Hobbs, as you pull your respiratory kit over your shoulders.

"EMS is way overrun, you're reassigned. Take the medical kit, Calvin's meeting you on the East side of the building," Hobbs says quickly, rounding behind you to pull the tank off of your back.

"You got it, Hobbs. I'll radio when I'm over," you reply, taking the medical bag off of the truck and hauling it over your shoulder. Glancing to the building, you decide to leave your bunker gear and helmet on. Glass was blowing out across the facade, and if the acrid smell was anything to go by, there might be some debris to dodge.

Side-stepping a few EMS as they evacuate patients, you start rounding the building. Even through your gear, you can feel the heat radiating off of the brick and mortar of the building. The nearer firehouse had been battling this one for damn near an hour before calling in your crew for backup.

"Calvin! Incoming!" you shout as you round the building into the next street. A makeshift medical tent had been established outside of the collapse zone, and the street was closed off by police at both ends of the block. It was one of the only times you were thankful for them on scene.

An explosion crashes out above you from inside the top floors of the structure. Reflexively, you duck, ears ringing slightly as you recover. You squint against the light of the fire, looking desperately for its source.

Through the smoke billowing out of the foyer door, you see a pair of silhouettes, one supporting the other. Ignoring Calvin calling out for you, you dart forward through the doors. The heat of the room hits you first, and then the distinct realisation that you're not wearing your respirator.

You see them, just barely, and you reach out to take the weight of the casualty. Taking them in a fireman carry, you take the arm of the other, heaving the pair out of the door. Clean air has never smelled so good.

"Go! Keep going forward," you say hastily to the walking one. "Calvin! I got two casualties, prep medical! Smoke inhalation, among other things!"

Calvin's already on his way over, taking who you now see is a woman out of your arms, putting her on a medical bed and placing a mask over her face. You sweep your surrounds quickly, taking in the scene more fully this time. You spot your other casualty, resting her hands on her knees to catch her breath. She was in an odd purple costume, with a quiver and bow slung across her back.

"Ma'am, I need you to keep walking forward to the medical tent," you say, approaching her.

"What? No! No, no, I'm fine, I swear!" She's rather insistent, coughing a few times. On her shoulder was a scorched part of her uniform. Rather than argue, you take her forearm, leading her away from the debris zone.

"What's your name?" you ask, unzipping your medical bag to pull out antiseptic, gauze, and a few other tools. The woman watches you carefully, almost lost in her inner monologue for a moment.

"Ka- I mean- Hawkeye! I'm Hawkeye!" she rushes out, interrupting herself. You huff a laugh, reaching out to inspect her shoulder.

"I thought Hawkeye was a dude." You'd seen him recently with a sidekick, but you were doubtful they would both choose the same name.

"Yea, well he is... But I'm the other one," she mumbles, wincing slightly as the antiseptic makes contact with her burn.

"You're lucky this isn't a bad burn. Shouldn't have gone into that building, hero or not," you say, laying the gauze on top and using a bandage to affix it more firmly to the site. "I'm gonna check your throat real quick with this light. You cool with that?"

She nods, opening her mouth. You click the medical light on, taking your helmet off to get closer without smacking her in the head. God knows you've done that too many times. Thankfully, it didn't look raw.

"Looks like you're all clear, you're a lucky one, Hawkeye," you say, placing your equipment back into your bag and zipping it up. You glance over to her, noticing how she looks at you; with a strange sort of transfixion.

"I, uh-" she starts.

Calvin calls out your name from the street, where fresh casualties were being evacuated from the building. You swear under your breath.

"Sorry- I'm gonna need to go..." You trail off, as in the small amount of time you looked away, your mysterious Hawkeye was gone. In her place was a small note.

Call me (phone number) - Hawkeye

You tuck the note into your jacket pocket, before running over to where Calvin was ushering away civilians.

12pm, April 30th

The cafe you were currently situated in was a rather lovely hole-in-the-wall place, about a stone's throw away from Central Park. You were waiting on your date; your second date, actually, with a lovely girl named Kate Bishop. The very same girl you had helped out during a structure fire on the 19th.

The bell to the cafe chimed, and you looked up from your table. You smile as you catch Kate's eye, beckoning her over.

"It's so good to see you again!"

how about carol danvers x reader cuddling headcanons?

Sure thing!! I don't normally do headcanons but while I'm writing my other requests, I'll absolutely serve this up!

Cuddling HCs

How About Carol Danvers X Reader Cuddling Headcanons?

Carol would definitely be the big spoon about 70% of the time. She enjoys having somebody in her arms - it means she knows where they are, and they haven't just up and disappeared like a lot of people in her life.

The other 30% of the time, she'd probably flop on top of you, most likely after a particularly difficult mission, or any flareups with her memory issues.

This woman runs hot. Like RADIATES heat. It's great during the winter, but you have to claw this girl off of you in the summer (if you're on Earth). Otherwise y'all got the AC CRANKED to cold.

When she flops on top of you, Carol likes to tuck her head into your shoulder/neck. It's comfortable, and a little bit more protective.

Sometimes when she's being wracked with guilt, she'll draw away from you. The best you'll get is a hand to hold, but she will NOT initiate anything boldly with you. But she is happy when you pull up beside her with a blanket.

You two don't really need blankets, per se, but it does make it cosier.

THE MINUTE!!! THE MINUTE WINTER HITS!! OR Y'ALL ARE IN A COLD ENVIRONMENT. It's over. it's so so over!!

Unrelated but 100% she's the genre of person to not wear a sweater in the snow and pull the "But babe I'm not even cold!"

It might be true, it might not be. You can never tell

What she will do however, is offer you her jacket if you even allude to being a bit chilly.

Blink and it's around your shoulders, and it's nicely warm, and smells like her.

Carol's got a dumb little smile she's trying to hide, acting like she didn't do it.

Pour one out for all the stories you'll never find again, that you barely remember in totality, but that left an impression on you that you'll never forget.

The short stories from standardized tests that you only had a few minutes to read, but those minutes will last a lifetime.

The books on the library display shelf you used to occupy time until your mom could come pick you up from school.

The graphic novel you picked up when you were first getting into comics and could never find again.

The single lines or themes from stories you otherwise don't remember, save for the one thing that you saw and internalized as a new part of your personality.

Let's pour one out for the books that built us, even if we never could find them again, and couldn't of we wanted to.

I for one think we as a society need to appreciate Taylor Swift’s absolutely stunning lyricism. I’ll probably end up posting analyses on this blog sometime or other, but it’s absolutely nuts. Like yes, she has an incredible voice that’s grown over her body of work, but there isn’t enough energy devoted to the absolute POETRY that she writes. Taylor was my whole reason for becoming interested in classic literature and writing my own poetry, and I can’t thank her enough for that.

No seriously it’s like all the chaos concentrated into a select few individuals strong enough to survive the ban and somehow it all evolved into the Internet’s Cockroach

no but it’s so funny when youre talking to some like alt dude who is like “oh you’re on tumblr? i used to have tumblr but i left after the porn ban, it just got boring” and you’re like omg. tumblr is literally so much better and more fun now than when you were here PRECISELY bc people like you left. how does it feel to have a writhing mass of worms in your head instead of a brain.
