Darn it!

Darn it, darn it.  The two posts that just went up were supposed to go in the drafts folder and then into the queue.  Not that you saw much of interest. Let’s just forget it appeared until something really similar shows up again at some point, shall we?

The Ramirezes were fun, as always.  I really adore them.  The tasks this time were both challenging and fun.  I wasn’t sure if I was going to make it to 20 grilled cheese sandwiches in time, but they did it!

Tessa got the jumping on the couch task done quite quickly.  (I actually had to tell her to do it, but she enjoyed it once she got started.)

My favorite task was the Woohoo in the Elevator one, though.  I don’t think I have ever had sims do that.  I had to come up with an excuse for Checo and Lisa to be around an elevator, so I figured a hospital fundraiser party would be a good place for them to get in the right mood for something like that. 

The first time they used the elevator, it actually crashed on them!  It took me a minute to figure it out.  Lisa stumbled out with stars around her head and Checo was nowhere to be seen. He had gotten out on the lower floor.  Luckily neither of them was seriously hurt and they tried again shortly afterwards.

I knew from the beginning of the round that I wanted this elevator woohoo to be a “risky” woohoo, so to speak.  I actually told them to try for baby, so it was only risky in a story sense, but it took them four tries to get what I wanted!  I actually only had them try twice in the elevator (for fear of another crash).  They tried another two times at home before I finally got the lullaby I wanted. 

I just really, really want these two to have more than just one kid.  They have such great faces and I’d hate to see them go to waste.  Plus, I think Tessa would like being a big sister.  

Overall, the Ramirez round was another one that was a bit lighter on story (although everything is lighter than the Landgraab round this time) but the story that is emerging is a fun one.  I can’t wait to see what happens next with these guys! 

Next up is the Larson twins. Let’s see how their competition goes this time around!

Ha ha!  Nope!  The queue is still set at 1 post a day, so it’s just finishing up the Ramirez round right now.  

Sheila came out of the bathroom a few minutes later.  “What happened to your sister?” she asked Jason.

“She left,” Jason said with a shrug. “I’m sorry she burst in like that.  I really thought she’d be out later.”

Sheila smiled. “I guess we probably should have gone into your room.  I know my roommates wouldn’t be too happy to find me on the couch with someone.”

“We could go to my room now,” Jason suggested. 

Sheila laughed.  She wrapped her arms around him and kissed him gently.  “It’s getting late,” she whispered. “Maybe another time.”

“Okay...”

Jason had such a good day that he decided to invite his sweetie, Sheila Barnes, over for a date. He was really excited to see her.
