Run, Rabbit, Run
I assumed the rabbit was you,
A knight in bloodied armor,
Turned into a prey animal,
I did not understand,
The rabbit was me,
Until I lay hidden in my warren,
I was told to,
Run, Rabbit, Run,
For “Doom will rain” upon me,
So I ran to a new home,
For a “Rabbit always knows its hole,”
I dig into the heart of the earth,
The darkness envelops me,
My body is tired and worn,
I cannot stop until I am safe,
Within “Depths and Deeps”,
My spirit it weeps,
For I know I am prey,
As my blood seeps into stone,
From branches to roots,
I become Betrayed.
I have decided to make a set of my own tarot cards, using sigils and symbols rather than drawings/paintings. I very much enjoy how simple they look, how they feel, and the idea of each card being a booklet holding the meaning behind itself.
What do you guys think of the first card?

I am filthy
Full of Filth
Covered in grime
That came from work
From effort
From trying
Trying too hard
Is this what I want?
Happy through triumph
Afraid to fail
The pockmarks in the metal
Make me sick
I am covered head to toe
In soot
And dirt
And slag
Slag burned into my skin
In my clothes
Through the leathers
Too bright light
The sun seared into my corneas
Brown turned to fire-red
Contentedness
Found in work
Shame
Found in filth
You cannot live
Without consequence
I am filthy from work
I am angry from shame
I am learning the hard way
Everything Perfect
Everything Perfect By Jack, Poet
Since all alike my songs and praises Belong to you I will sing Of your timelessness and elegance That only the stars are second to,
For even stardust cannot compare To how your eyes glitter in light Or how you dazzle all That stand before you
