Races Of Aetheral
Races of Aetheral
The spirit Alive in peoples who call home
Tradition, unison Beneath the eye of prosperity
Unique, wide-spread Backbone in art, science, war
Descend, Find a place, Prove their worth
Hail the Eld, Settle in all corners of the world Into the highest wood and deepest caves
Proud, There is little question to who has Conquered all
Born of the wishes of a goddess Magic in both body and purpose
Ambition despite tragedy
Thrive over the fallen
Connect to spirit Marked by war and strife,
Better the will of death, Towards which they march

I think most are better
Better at every type of art
Photos, poems, writing
I sing quietly,
I dance uninspired,
All I can feel is that weight
That presses against my heart
Heavier and heavier
I never can describe the numbness
The sinking in my chest
Like a stone into the ocean
Im meant to explore and understand
I am no pilgrim
I write, afraid
Afraid of my betters
I sink into the sand
Of the sea floor
I wait until I get up again
To renew the cycle of
Wake, walk, return.

Literary Forest Magazine, a magazine with only two issues thus far and is entirely based on the internet has allowed me to be a part of it. It is a collection of poetry from those that are up-and-coming. They found mine here, on this Tumblr, and asked me what felt like ages ago. It’s a perfect birthday present, and where I can’t remember the name of the exact blog that asked me, I will thank Abbie Hart, Editor in Chief, since I’m pretty sure it is only owned and operated by one person. Thank you so much for the opportunity. Link to the Magazine, Issue #2 (It’s almost all digital): https://literaryforestmagazineonline.wordpress.com/issue-two/
