What Dreams are Made Of
Rexwalker Week Day One! @rexwalkerweek
Prompts- Kamino: Form I- Determination, Tradition, Divergence.
Summary:
Anakin had expected a lot of things from his teen years, but sharing dreams with a young, enslaved boy from the other side of the galaxy hadn't at all been at the top of his list. Rex had no idea that he could touch the Force, and had no idea what it meant to be sharing dreams with a Jedi. Neither knew why the strange dreams were happening, but they could both agree that they never wanted them to stop.

Sneak Peak:
Rex gasped, eyes going wide as he stared at the glowing blade. “You’re a jetii ?”
Anakin gave an eager nod and turned the blade off. “You could be too, Rex!”
“What! No I can't!” he practically shouted in disbelief.
Anakin nodded vehemently. “You could! You’re Force sensitive, Rex, like I am! You used the Force to grab your data pad, and there is so much more you could learn to do with it!”
He shook his head just as passionately. “No! No, Anakin, I have to keep this a secret! If the Kaminoans find out, they’ll decommission me!”
Anakin froze and stared at Rex with wide, horrified eyes. “Decommission? Rex, you aren’t a product to be canceled! You’re a living, breathing human being! You’re a sentient young boy for fuck’s sake!”
“To them, I am.” he whispered, eyes falling down to his hands. “To the Kaminoans, all I am is a product to be disposed of when it's deficient.”
Fury crossed Anakin’s features and he angrily shook his head before reaching out and cupping Rex’s face. Rex met his emotion filled eyes with wide ones of his own as the Jedi shook his head.
“No. You are not . You are so much more than that! And if you want to learn about the Force in order to keep yourself safe from them, I’ll be happy to teach you what I can.”
“You would do that?”
“I would do anything to keep you safe.” Anakin swore, his hands dropping down to rest on Rex’s shoulders

Currently 4am for me and it definitely cement the fact that I hate summer
Currently searching for where I put my rexwalker week draft and stories for the rexwalker week.... Might post it a bit late
Plus I'm in vacations in the middle of nowhere, it will definitely not help.
After a bit, Wes realizes with horror that he started appreciate the guys as if they were those idiots in your group of friends that have that one elaborate joke they will die before stopping to do.
So now that he's used to it, it's a nice distraction from all his responsibilities. (I like to imagine he ends up becoming a journalist with a Twitch or YouTube channel talking about cryptid on the side. And that on the long run, he opens a basketball club to help kids learn and appreciate the sport that helped him make it through high school and its constant fishy dangers.)
Now they have Netflix and chill nights were they compares actors and criticize the producers' and writers' choices. And Danny definitely learn about it at one point and just think: "less guards that will try and follow me everywhere" before leaving them alone.
The Cult
When Amity Park students graduated from Casper High and moved to different parts of the world, they never forgot Phantom, or all that he had done for them. Phantom also didn't forget the people who supported him, so he gave them a ghost ice crystal to use in an emergency.
That's why most of the students at Casper High proudly wore a peculiar necklace with a ghost ice diamond. This necklace had two functions: Call the Ghost King if they had a problem, or freeze people who tried to steal it and were not the owner.
Danny was fine with casual calls, his job as King was extremely boring and after his secret got out most of Casper became friendly. An excuse to talk and escape from tedious meetings from time to time was excellent.
Of course, quite a few League members were struck by the necklace their co-workers were wearing and asked about it. They said it was a gift from the Ghost King, which made them suspect it was some cult.
That was definitely a red flag for Batman, who wanted to know more about it. Their employees specialized in different areas but could be planning something together.
When Flash took one of the necklaces out of curiosity he didn't expect to turn into a block of ice. The League didn't know what to do with the frozen Speedster and they called the owner of the necklace, who only sighed with reluctance.
Dash was disappointed at his bosses (aren't they supposed to be heroes? Why did they rob a head of security? And he'd been so worried he'd lost his gift!), he figured he should call Danny.
Oooooh ?
Where did you post that fic? Because I need to read this!! 🥺
I have a dumb idea!
You know that in some fics (must there be vox ship or not), Quinlan Vos is nice with the Coruscant Guard, right?
Then what if, because he saved (I don't know if that part is legend or even fannon) Aalya when she was on Ryloth to bring her to the Temple to then be her parental figure (let's ignore the romance part for that one), he kinda saw the Guard, remembered their actual age and got full parental mode? I mean, he saved Aalya from slavery and gone dad mode after so why not do the same with those poor guys with no sentient right?
Like even just little things: he's around and help, he makes sure they are pretty much okay on patrol, he gives them contacts in order to survive Coruscant, he helps the medics with stubborn troopers (he has the Obi-Wan experience), he make them follow an healthy schedule, help with some paperworks (it actually help for his job as a shadow too), ....
I don't know, I saw some "Dad Obi-Wan" fic idea but never this one....
For the day one of of the Rexwalker week from this post from @rexwalkerweek !

Day 1: Kamino | Form 1 : Determination, tradition, divergence
----------------------------------
It was raining.
It was raining like today, like every other day really, and it's one of the only thing Rex could think of when remembering about how the war started for him.
ARC training was over and the CCs - and him because of course the Shebs still dragged him everywhere - were ready to embark for their new battalions. Back then, Rex had just listened to bu- Alpha-17's debriefing, and he would be to accompany Cody as a capitain for the 212th.
He had just learned of the two Jedis, a Master, Obi-Wan Kenobi, concelor and General of the 7th Sky Army - god, Cody had be helping leading a thirteenth of the full GAR, no wonder his ego didn't get any better - and a Padawan, Anakin Skywalker, soon to be knight. And no one thought to warn him that the latter was... Tall, with broad shoulders, able to easily lift two troopers fully decked on them, sparkling blue eyes and wide smile when happy or proud, with so much compassion it would kill him one day, who felt so much it could easily hurt him, who shared his heritage and didn't hide his childhood once it leaked after that one emergency medical intervention.... Perfection in any clones' mind and especially Rex's as his ori'vode teased.
And after that first encounter on Kamino, where a, back then, Padawan Skywalker had ran after his master with an umbrella at hand after the first just strode under the rain to get to them, after the creation of Torrent, made as some kind of suicide squad that surprisingly - except to Him - survived, after Anakin's knighting and Rex's nomination as his second, after the trials of the War, they were still breathing, still alive and still standing.
The War was over.
And it was still raining.
Anakin caught his hands, dragging Rex out of his reverie, and dragging the captain with him back under the cloudburst dancing and laughing. Rex knew he sported some kind of goofy, lovesick smile that one of the 501st was definitely taking a holo of right now, but he couldn't care less.
"Marry me..." whispered his lover in Amakkvit.
"Which tradition?" was Rex answer.
Anakin hummed, twirling around a bit more, still holding the other tight.
"You still have your Japor snippet?"
Rex nodded, feeling it pressing against his chest under his blacks.
"We did share meals, bed, bled for each other, promised our undying loyalty even if far away or in an open relationship, promised to and did protect each other's family with everything we had when possible?"
Rex nodded again, blushing a bit as the Jedi pressed him closer.
"Well those are more than enough requirements reached for me." he murmured in the blond's ear "Unless you refuse we are considered to be each other's in my birth culture." big lashes batted at the captain, a sly smirk gracing Anakin's lips as he definitely saw his partner's reaction as they both stopped, pressed tightly against each other under the rain.
Rex kissed that smile off his face under the whistles of his vode.
"Mhi solus tome" he whispered, catching his jetti's face between his hands the moment they broke away from the kiss.
Anakin blinked, surprised, before whispering too:
"Mhi solus tome"
"Mhi solus dar'tome"
"Mhi solus dar'tome"
"Mhi me'dinnui an" Rex voice grew louder as the entire galaxy seemed to hold it's breath.
"Mhi me'dinnui an"
"Mhi ba'juri verde"
"Mhi ba'juri verde" Anakin finished before swooping his now husband in another kiss, this one more desperate, needing to be sure everything was real.
Kamino burst in cheers, the sun finally, shyly peeking between grey clouds.
