i probably won’t post that much / won’t get much traction but i still wanted to make one ^_^

hii!! i'm rune — i'll post headcanons, ficlets, moodboards, and will reblog pretty much anything about argenti (or sunday) ; expect lots of yapping as well …

my interests are: honkai: star rail, genshin impact, the rose of versailles, vkei (especially malice mizer / ali project), greek mythology, and vocaloid! the first 4 are more intense than the latter 2 however c:

head empty just argenti/sunday narrative mirroring.

argenti, born to nothing but violence yet witnessing beauty during a tender age, a small glimpse of light. his optimistic behavior leading to, what i view as an unfair&opportunistic, indoctrination that evidently saved his life. the way that he is willing to sacrifice himself for an aeon that is, according to everyone but their followers, dead. he does not hold himself to high regard, he views idrila's commandments as just so: commandments that he must follow.

and then sunday, born to nothing yet raised in luxury. chance bringing him light as well, however unlike the fleeting music of argenti's, he was gifted with the song of harmony, for a time. his naivety being his downfall, an innocent's desire to protect leading to an absolute obsession with control. a few blots of darkness were enough to fully bleed into a spiral, he convinced himself that ena was enough to wash out the gray. he does not simply want to ressurect the order, he wishes to embody & control them as well. fully believing that he alone can guide the world into stability.

they're two sides of the same coin, and a very interesting view on how religious obsession can stem from&go either way. i fully believe that if argenti heard sunday's reasoning he could easily fall into sympathy. on the other side, i think that sunday would benefit greatly from becoming a knight of beauty– i have my issues with how they run, but it would be both interesting & a good middle ground.

they both long for an abstract sense of control, a desire to protect that which they will always lose. good for the price of either other's sense of control or their own. they're tragedy in its purest form, perhaps the only two characters (so far) who could understand one another's desperation.
