Nah fr I was pretty creeped out by some of André's actions, bro tried to poison Oscar's wine out of 'love' and this is why I ship Oscar and Rosalie.
If this was like certain other manga/anime then André more like Yandré.

I guess the reason she’s not in the anime as much as she was in the manga is because people didn’t like her. PEOPLE ARE WRONG. HOW COULD THEY LIKE A SEXUALLY ASSAULTING JERK LIKE ANDRE AND NOT ROSALIE. OH HAHA NEVER MIND WE ALL KNOW WHY.
I'm now in my manga/graphic novel reader era. Not that I didn't read manga before but now I'm just looking at my school library's comics and manga collection for some more to read.
(damn I'm soooo happy that my school has manga in an already amazing library, like, my previous school library had one or two cupboards of books worth reading and comics didn't exist there🥹)

47 Ronin (the graphic novel)
And I plan on reading Strobe Edge soon :)
I only read the 2nd and 3rd graphic novel mentioned because I LOVE stories with plots that I usually don't see. I took the Girl from the Sea because I was pleasantly surprised to see a sapphic book in my (somewhat conservative) library. And the Prince and the Dressmaker is about a prince who loves crossdressing!

It’s only been two months since I watched it, but I’m still kind of stunned at how wild The Rose of Versailles is from the jump: a Revolution-era nobleman violently assigning his newborn daughter a male at birth, followed immediately by one of the coolest anime openings of all time.
