i love fashion (however i don’t actually know much about it) and i love argenti, i hope i do him justice (please call me out for mischaracterization …) ; cringe alert

𝜗𝜚 — would adore vintage designs. he totally has old magazines and cutouts and takes inspo from those sewing guides (yk the ones that are great for pose references??? does anyone know what i mean) , i think he’d love mixing and matching different textures and whatnot (this is not me expressing my hatred for that fugly modern stuff that’s impossible to function in with all the weird ass shapes)

𝜗𝜚 — your free tailor !!! not only does he design, but he creates, and that means he could totally help cinch that shirt that looks great but is just a bit too big on you. perhaps he’d even add a few of his own touches, with unique buttons and a ruffle here or there!

HELLO i wanted to leave these as tags but i need you to know that fashion designer Argenti modern au has changed the trajectory of my life and i want to bother you abt it so IMAGINE

just...argenti w messy hair and a pin cushion on his wrist and several pins in his mouth trying to figure out where the cutouts go. Maybe you spent the night in his studio because he's working way past his usual hours due to his current order being special and he just has to get everything right.

Imagine helping him out and making sure he doesn't exhaust himself, reminding him to take frequent breaks and sometimes even having to force him to lie down for a bit. oh and giving him snacks every time you visit !! He's too scared too eat them because it's a gift how could he :( so he keeps them in a small glass bowl on the counter. You're a little sad he doesn't eat them but occasionally a customer would ask if they could have one and it makes their day, so you really don't mind. And it makes you feel like you're more involved, sometimes the studio feels like your home just as much as it does to Argenti and you couldn't be happier.

thank u for bothering me with this arghhh i adore domestic things he’d literally look so pretty with the pin cushion and eveything too oh my GOD imagine he has like a lil couch in his office but a lot of the time he also ends up there cus it’s too late to go back home ???? and the little snack bowl is so cute ughhhhhh ,,,,; i never imagined him as much of a workaholic idk why but i can totally see him working way past office hours to make each design the best for his client !! thank u for making me think about this more op

How will Idrila appear to Argenti?

I keep thinking about the theory that Argenti sees Idrila as looking like his mother.

Argenti believing his mother akin to the goddess of beauty… thinking that because, when he learns of the belief that Idrila may appear to the seer as that of which they find most beautiful, he thinks to what he may view as true beauty and he remembers his childhood, remembering his mother as the most beautiful thing he knew.

After all, he’s heard motherhood described as one of the most beautiful things, so what love in the vast universe he travels, could be greater and more beautiful than a mother’s love– his mother's love, so unwavering and radiant amidst all the violence of war before she was taken away? 

He knows that gazing upon the god may drive him mad if he succeeds in finding the missing Idrila but, what if he could glance his mother just one more time before succumbing? So, he hopes and he prays that maybe they’re right… Even if they’re wrong, in all his dedication, maybe they would take the form of her as a gift. A blessing. 

And what if to him, Idrila’s blessing will be no different than an act of his mother’s love? That it will be a kiss on his forehead or a pat on his back? That Idrila’s light that will fall upon him will illuminate his being in warmth like the arms of his mother after a long day of battle raging? That it will fill his stomach like the meals she so desperately scrounged for? 

Argenti dedicating his life to a goddess who may not even be alive because they might resemble his mama. in any way.

When Argenti first met you, he was amazed by your inspiring determination and insistence of being a part of royalty. Whether your claims were true or false didn't matter to him, especially as he respected your identity as you did his once he shared it with you. He didn't mind you declaring him as your knight on the spot either, deciding that this must've been a sign of his God.

You traverse the world together, seeing breathtaking sights and meeting beautiful people alike, yet ultimately, the loneliness that you both experienced before finding each other is what brought you closer as family. Despite calling him your knight, deep down, past the fake identity you've created to cope with your life, you saw him as a big brother. He takes care of you well and protects you with his life, often simply saying that he was just doing his duties for you in order to make you happy.

Deep down, the fear of never finding Idrila was still present, but you two eventually learned that you ultimately didn't mind looking forever for her, if it meant for you to stay under his care. He gave you a home despite having been alone for so many years.

And on days when he did have doubts about his lifestyle, he wondered if it wouldn't have been better for you to live a normal, secure life somewhere, far away from this endless search. But seeing you smile and feel safe with him enforces his beliefs, as he takes a vow to simply let his god lead him and accept the blessing that was you in his life. No matter where your journey took you, and even if you died, never finding Idrila, it was okay for you in the end.
