Here's Some Pride Flag Scale Maille I Made Recently. From Top To Bottom, We Have Bracelets In Rainbow,

Here's some pride flag scale maille I made recently. From top to bottom, we have bracelets in rainbow, lesbian and trans pride flag colors, plus a choker necklace in the bisexual flag colors.

The lesbian flag colors are the ones that will always be approximate, and I just have to live with that. The official description of the lesbian flag colors is: dark orange, light orange, white, light pink, dark pink. The flag looks dang pretty, but those colors are really hard to match even if you’re not working in a limited pallet of about 12 colors. Red-orange-white-pink-purple is the best approximation I can do short of trying to source custom anodized scales.

You can find all my pride jewelry over here on my Etsy shop!

I Was Holding Back On Posting The Small Orders That I Made While I Was Working On A Couple Big Projects

I was holding back on posting the small orders that I made while I was working on a couple big projects during March, but now it's time to start catching up.

First up, a pair of spiral weave necklaces! They're stainless steel, and have a really nice heft and feel to them.

In terms of tactility/sensation, I think this weave might be my favorite to wear. I tend to pick one necklace+bracelet to test for an extended period, and this weave spent a year or two on my neck a while back.

Anyway, here's the Etsy link.

Wolf skull muzzle mask commission that I just finished up! It took more back-and-forth with the client than normal, but I'm really happy with the final result.

Made of 4 oz vegetable-tanned leather, which I laser-cut, dye black, form to shape, paint white, and seal up all myself. I actually took a good number of photos while making this, so here's a making-of post.

If you'd like a version of this for yourself, I've listed it up on my Etsy shop!

Theres Been A Bit Of Trouble On The Personal Side Of Things, So My Apologies For The Delay In Getting

There’s been a bit of trouble on the personal side of things, so my apologies for the delay in getting the promotional illustration completed in a timely manner. I thank you all for your patience and understanding, and I’m glad people have agreed to hold this year’s event in May!

Magic Meat May 2021 is here!

Magic Meat March (currently Magic Meat May this year due to unfortunate circumstances in March) is a month long event of men in sexy armor! Started in 2017 and based off of the original Magic Meat Week idea by amanda-sharpe, Magic Meat May will be the same awesome event filled with art of men in skimpy outfits to show that they can fight evil while showing lots of skin! This occasion is meant to be a fun way for people to share their drawings, writings, or even some cosplays/original outfits about guys in impractical fantasy attire. Whether you wish to depict a message about the inequality seen in the apparel of video games and other entertainment media or you simply want to draw dudes in something seemingly suitable only for the beach, all are welcome!

Here are a few guidelines!

•Be sure to tag your posts as #MagicMeatMay or submit them to the blog! •The Prompt List is now on carrd: https://magicmeatchallenge.carrd.co It is not required for this event! It is simply meant to help inspire people to create something! You can choose any themes you’d like to do at any time. •Creative freedom is highly encouraged, but please be mindful of how some traditionally feminine poses and outfits may appear to others. In other words, please be cautious about creating works solely made to ridicule in a malicious manner. •Nudity and sexual themes are fine, but please avoid outright pornographic depictions solely for the sake of being pornographic. Some exceptions apply, but please be thoughtful in how your art is presented. •Be sure to join the Male Ecchi DeviantArt group to submit your Magic Meat May related content and follow the Twitter account!

Spread the word and have fun!

The Paladin Is A Noble Warrior. His Blessed Armor Protects Him From Harm, And His Holy Vows Help Him

The paladin is a noble warrior. His blessed armor protects him from harm, and his holy vows help him resist the temptations of sin. Those who receive his aid in battle are assured of victory, but those who meet him afterwards consider themselves the truly lucky.

I made this suit of armor for the Magic Meat March challenge (delayed to May this year), which is about putting men into the sorts of costumes that fantasy women get drawn in. Check out other people’s stuff over @magicmeatmarch!

In place of a standard breastplate, this one is built in the form of a corset, providing protection and support while shaping and accentuating your profile. The pauldrons connect to the codpiece with a harness arrangement of straps, tying them together into one cohesive piece, supporting the necessaries and accentuating the assets. The greaves stand on their own.

I made everything by hand--cut, burnished, tooled, shaped, dyed, painted, sealed, and riveted together. The corset-breastplate and codpiece I designed from scratch--you can see a progression of the corset design here. The pauldrons (shoulders) and greaves (shins) I built from patterns by Prince Armory, partly because of time constraints, and partly because I wanted to see how other designers dealt with those pieces. (The greaves I was really impressed by, the pauldrons restrict movement more than I’d like, which was a problem I hadn’t been able to solve previously either.)

This is the most ambitious armor project I’ve tackled so far, both in scope and design, and I’m really pleased with how it turned out! I’m looking forward to making a few more pieces to go with this set in the coming months.

You Thought It Was Just A Regular Leather Collar. Then You Felt It Start To Drip, Melting Down Your Neck,

You thought it was just a regular leather collar. Then you felt it start to drip, melting down your neck, becoming something very different. How far will it go? Will you be able to get it off when it's done? Will you want to?

This idea had been lodged in my brain for months, of a collar turning liquid and spreading down your neck. A trope I see all the time in furry art, and I thought needed to be made physical. (Though I’m not sure if this trope exists literally anywhere else.)

Made of two layers of 8 oz vegetable-tanned leather. Leather is cut with a laser cutter, then dyed, burnished, finished, and riveted together by hand. I burnished the edges super smooth and gave it a high-gloss finish to complete the look.

It’s available over on my Etsy store. And if you’d like this in another color, please hit me up! I’m excited to make more copies of this design.
