The writer in me ADORES Brian's unique song writing style. How I see it, he writes so that, if you've been through some shit, you will know exactly what he's talking about. If you haven't, it's gibberish to you. Seven broken people who have been through seven different types of shit can listen to the same TFB song and relate in seven different ways; yet none of them are wrong. Maybe he wrote each of his songs about s singular, specific event and feeling that we're suppose to decode, or maybe they really are just gibberish... but to us, each song has a multitude of complex and heart mending meanings.

In layman's terms, the Front Bottoms fanbase is like a secret society where only traumatized people have the passcodes to entry and neurotypicals think we're nuts.
