I took a long time debating what starters I wanted. I definitely wanted two that I could draw this time.

My first two were a vulpix and bulbasaur, both of which pokemon I struggle to draw :'3 So these were some doodles I made of the ones I liked!

Actually Raya, my friend, all of them fit Saitama so well but I can also see many of the other OPM characters wearing those TERRIBLE t-shirts XD Here is an idea: we should come together as a fandom and make a mega post were we artist draw some of our favs in those t-shirts hahahahahaha Zombieman wearing the "Chocolate Fucking Jesus" and the CASIO one is not something I thought I needed in my life hahahah.

Y'know what? I'm tired of it.

I'm tired of saying it, because I don't fully believe it. I'm tired of hearing it every time something I loved making goes over looked.

I'm tired of people saying it's not okay to make art for validation, or to want validation for your art, "because you make it for you".

Why do you think song writers and singers sing? Not just because they like it. But because people like it. Because they get something out of it, be it money or fame.

Why do you think studios make films? For shits and giggles? Because they think it's fun to draw? Just because they want to see that movie be made?

They make it for you. They make it for views.

Art is no different.

Fuck, even those examples are types of art- Of course people want to be validated for the things they like! Of course they want to find people who also take joy in the things they make!

IT'S NORMAL, IT HAPPENS, AND ART IS ALMOST ALWAYS MADE WITH THE VIEWER IN MIND! SO SHUT THE FUCK UP AND STOP SHAMING PEOPLE FOR WANTING TO BE ACCEPTED FOR WHAT THEY LOVE TO DO AND WHAT MAKES THEM HAPPY!

It's not about pandering to your audience, because that is tiring. That is what's unhealthy.

But stop telling people they can't be disappointed when something that they loved isn't as equally loved when they work up the nerve to share it.
