My top ten favorite Barbie movies

Like every young girl I loved the Barbie movies. These are some of my favorites. I like that they are timeless, that you can watch them in every age and still enjoy them like DreamWorks Trilogy Classics or Disney and Pixar Movies. They are still fun too watch and I am really happy the Masterpiece of the Barbie movie that Greta Gerwig created, accomplished this again with a deep meaning behind the story, which is why this movie is so great.

I also recently saw some of the new Barbie movie stuff that is animated and I have the feeling it’s no longer also for us old fans, it’s more for the younger audience. Which isn’t bad don’t get me wrong, it’s always nice to see when Barbie gets new fans, but with the old movies and the cinema version of Barbie I had more the feeling that it was for everyone. But the new Barbie dreamhouse show feels still for everyone. It’s a good show maybe not as iconic as life in the dreamhouse, which is still the best Barbie show today, but it takes another interesting turn on Barbie, her family and friends. I like that her parents got introduced, they are very nice and seem to love each other dearly, which is wonderful. Barbie herself is as always a great protagonist and I like that they tried to make her more relatable. Ken is a bit similar to his life in the dreamhouse self so he is still a dork but adorable, which suits him perfectly. They also have a Ryan and Raquelle, which are called Tammy and Tray. Which is fine but I would’ve liked if Ryan and Raquelle had a comeback in this, they were the best characters in the previous dreamhouse series.

DreamWorks Animation SKG (Spielberg, Katzenberg, Geffen)

I am recently really worried about DreamWorks Animation because of their many lay offs and the fact that they will do Animation not in House anymore. It’s just sad to see this fantastic company suffer. I honestly think it wasn’t the best idea to make the guy, who is responsible for the minions the head of a studio that isn’t like Illumination at all. Its like Universal wants DreamWorks to be Illumination, but this wouldn’t work. I am also very worried about the upcoming httyd remake, which I personally don’t need or think it’s necessary, but I take it any day over a fourth movie. I know DreamWorks is the King of Sequels and maybe also the King of Trilogies, because their Trilogies come better together as full stories as some from other studios. I just instantly hope that they don’t go the way Disney goes with its endless remakes or Illumination with its fun but not really heartwarming movies. DreamWorks has their own animation style and they made some of the greatest animated movies ever. I really hope they recover from this Dark Age and get back their greatness and glory. I hope this company will continue to exists even if I’ve been an old woman at these days. They really deserve to get their amazingly well trained animators back. I mean what is DreamWorks without its many talented animators, who do hard work to make the movies reality that we love today.

Hiccup looked up as Astrid approached him, he smiled and admired the swing of her beautiful hips, perfectly accentuated by her blue bottoms. From the corner of his eye, Hiccup saw that his cousin had also briefly looked up from his endless Tinder search and observed Astrid's elegant walk. He grinned evilly and turned to Hiccup. "You like that one, cousin?" Hiccup's mouth twisted in embarrassment. “Maybe a little.” “Then go and ask her if she would like to go out with you,” suggested Snotlout. Embarrassment bubbled over Hiccup, he had desired this young woman from the first moment and would like to get to know her better. But it was worth a try, so he got up and went to meet her. “Hi, Astrid,” he greeted her shyly, he suddenly felt completely naked even though he was only exposed to his upper body. He watched as she tucked a long strand of blonde hair behind her ear, her eyes sparkling along with the sparkling ocean waters as she returned his hello. “I have a question for you,” she began. "Funny! I wanted to ask you something too.” They both smiled awkwardly at each other. “You say it first,” she demanded. “No, you ladies first,” he tried to convince her. Why was it suddenly so difficult, it was just a simple question. “No, please,” she said suddenly very shyly, which surprised him a bit because she had seemed very spirited and self-confident with her friends. So he gathered up all his courage and just spouted off with it. “I'm being honest, Astrid. I would like to go out with you…if you want of course.” Suddenly a smile appeared on her beautiful lips. “I'd love to. I wanted to ask you exactly the same thing.” His heart beat faster at that moment. He was excited and overwhelmed at the same time, it had been a very long time since he had felt the feeling of butterflies in his stomach. She suddenly nudged him in the arm with her elbow, although she seemed a little more relaxed again. "If you want to go on a date with me, do you want to go to the pool with me?" He smiled. "Very gladly. On the condition that I can invite you for a drink today.”

Omg the look on Hiccups face when he sees his beautiful wife flying on Stormfly with their daughter ❣️Ten years of marriage and they still look at each other like they will fell in love all over again. That’s just true, pure love that will never die.
