I Think That If Picard Ever Accidentally Fell Asleep On Q, Like Just The Slightest Little Head Rest On
I think that if Picard ever accidentally fell asleep on Q, like just the slightest little head rest on Q's shoulder, Q would be so surprised but absolutely positively delighted!
He'd wait a few seconds to make sure Picard's actually asleep, listen to him breathing quietly, and then just- pick him up and place him fully on his lap. Like if a pet falls asleep next to you you'd pick it up and place it on your lap to cuddle it more. Q doesn't do anything else, even if he gets bored he lets Picard sleep. He just keeps his arms around the captain's waist and holds him happy to have his fun.
Of course when Picard wakes up he either (1) wakes up alone and with his favourite hot tea by his side bc Q vanished and didn't want Jean Luc to get all harumph harumph >:( about being in Q's lap or (2) Picard wakes up and does in fact get all angry after he realizes he's sitting in Q's lap which Q doesn't help by teasing him non-stop making the captain flush just a little bit.

I'm so sorry to all my mutuals of whom i wish to communicate with but unfortunately i was raised in the mortal realm and therefor believe that if I decide to message you and make my presence known you'll burn me to a thousands ashes :)
I was today years old when I found out that Alexander Siddig and Nana Visitor were once married and had a kid together.
Funniest thing is that the two actors actually married in the ds9 cast never actually were canonically together because their characters were simply too butch and too twink to have chemistry

I have to imagine that Kirk and Spock’s wedding was the biggest thing to happen in the quadrant that entire year! Everyone and their mother heard about the wedding announcement between the great captain James T Kirk and his first officer S’chn T’gai Spock. It must have been live-streamed or whatever the Star Trek equivalent of that is, humanity cheered and watched on excitedly, all Vulcan children probably got the day off school, this was framed in both their histories as a collective “second first-contact moment”. A bajillion Starfleet officers, captains, and admirals must have been in attendance to watch the ceremony and stay for the afterparty. Bones and Uhura stood as Kirk and Spock’s best man respectively, Pike officiated and cried many happy dads tears. In fact, countless tears were shed by the original crew of the enterprise and almost everyone in attendance (Bones denied the allegations but Scotty’s got photo evidence). Chekov got stupidly drunk at the after party along with a tipsy Sulu, who also managed to snap a quick photo of Spock and Kirk looking incredibly flushed and happy.
I have my own personal headcanon that in the star trek universe Human musicals are EXTREMELY popular amongst the stars and across all galaxy's. Cause sure, other aliens have singing and dancing and music of all sorts but everyone quickly agrees that there is nothing like a human musical. It baffles a few Ferengi's ears when hoo-mans sing in such a high frequency for such a long time that shouldn't even be possible with their lung size! Vulcan's can appreciate the synchrony of their dancing and consider it a very pleasing experience (Their incredibly impressed by it and it becomes a frequent topic of conversation). Cardassian's admire the way the characters sing/talk to the audience and reveal what their feeling but not to the other characters, it's fun to watch secrets unfold or explode to someone's face as chaotic antics happen all around them (Their favorites tend to be Stephan Sondheim musicals). Surprisingly, even Klingons aren't immune to the talent of human musical theatre, on any given night you'll see a large group of Klingons sitting around a table ready for an opera show and tales from soprano's receiving numerous thanks and glory be's! from burly Klingons after a show.
Forever feeling insane at the fact that in the Re-animator comic Dan helps heal Herbert's wounds while he's shirtless and with Herbert lying down on the slab after fighting with rufus all the while they have silly little banter.

Dan is just overall more shirtless in the entire story; what I wouldn't give for this scene to be real, the movie deprived us and Herbert of seeing Dan's tits more often
