Kay, So Let's Pretend That Danny's A Part Of The Justice League, And He Wants To Mess With Them.
Kay, so let's pretend that Danny's a part of the justice league, and he wants to mess with them.
Now they don't know a lot about the ghost zone, so they kinda have to take his words as the truth (since he is a resident of the place) which means he can say the most insane shit and they believe it.
Someone says "when pigs fly!" Danny informs them that the ghost zone has flying pigs and there's also flying pineapples.
And then he invents The Game.
He grabs normal playing cards, pokemon cards, yi-gi-oh cards, Bakugan cards, Uno cards, and then he mixes them all together and calls it an official Game of the zone.
He makes up rules and everything.
And then John Constantine comes along, and he wants in on the chaos, so he adds tarot cards.
And when anybody asks him if something about the zone is true (since he is the only person other than Danny who knows so much about it) he says yes.
Somewhere along the way, The Game becomes an actual official ghost zone game.
Danny floating above a table with cards in front of him: I summon blue eyes white dragon!
Dani playing along: I use the Queen of hearts signature move! Off with your head!
Dan who's here for some reason: reverse card.
Hal:...What the hell are they playing ?
John wandering in: hmm? Oh your playing that. *Pulls out tarot deck* mind if I join?
JL: ?????
And all the other things Danny's said exists in the zone now actually exist in the zone because people believe that they do.
He asks Clockwork about it, and he just says that "the power of belief is a powerful thing."

So, Danny looks like a Viking due to his ice core and Dani looks like a Pirate since her core is freedom.
What does Dan look like with his lightening/vengeance core?
I thought about that and have come up with an idea.
Dan looks like a lighthouse keeper.
Danny has an Ice Core.
He isn't aware of it, but this does, in fact, greatly influence how his ghost form looks as he grows up.
His appearance starts getting more rugged, eyes a paler, more piercing green, hair a bit more uncontrollable and wild.
He packs muscle easily, even in human form.
When in ghost form, he has an aura of something patient and dangerous, and that sense only grows the older he gets.
Basically, our boy starts to look like a viking.
No matter how goofy and bumbling he really is, his first impression is always a horrifying moment for whoever is meeting him.
And as his ghost form grows with his human form, he outgrows his hazmat outfit. Frostbite and the Far Frozen fashion him some new clothes-which only compliment and play off of the viking aesthetic he's got going on.
And with the height he inherited from his father?
Our man is a very, very intimidating figure to look at. More so than Dan; because while Dan was dangerous and scary, he was all energy and lightning and rage.
Adult Danny comes across as lethal and terrifying, all ice and persistence and that final, terrible silence before you realize you've already died.
Dan felt like the warrior in front of you. Danny feels like the wilderness in winter, vast and unforgiving.
Anyways, when a summoning for Klarion goes horribly wrong and Danny gets called instead, the Justice League has a moment where they're convinced they've summoned something much, much worse than Klarion.
And Danny, standing there completely confused, is not helping by remaining silent and still while staring John Constantine in the eye.
Good news, the bad guys are also very concerned about the weird ghost viking and are actually moving to stand side by side with the Justice League on this.
Bad news, who the fuck is this guy?
"...Fuck," is all Constantine whispers, backing away slowly.
@simplestoryteller
I think all of them qualify for the Laughing Magician title, definitely think they should get it.
Like imagine Jazz and Dani as Laughing Magicians.
I made another post about Danny and about how the justice league believes that something exists in the ghost zone then that makes it exist, but I had an idea since then.
So as a joke, John and Danny claim to be related. (Jazz, Dan, and Dani get in on it too.)
Batman: ...you have a family.
John: what? You think you're the only one with kids?
Batman: that *points at Dan* is a grown ass man.
Dan: hey dad, Jazz wants to know if you'll pick up some milk from the store, she says we're out.
John: sure, she want anything else?
Dan: nah but Dani wants you to grab some pizza while you're there.
Batman:....
And at some point, they start coming to him with their problems.
Dan needs a place to stay? Johns couch is free.
Danny needs help with schoolwork? John might not know what the answer is, but he'll try and help.
Jazz needs someone to rant to? She'll call John.
Dani needs help dismantling a cult? John will be right there in an hour.
They don't acknowledge it outloud, but if they have a problem John is the first person they think of to call for help.
The ghost zone and it's inhabitants also accept John as the ghost kids parent, like if they say it's true then it must be true.
Then they start changing just a bit.
Their hair gets lighter (closer to blonde) their eyes change by a couple shades, and unknown to them, their DNA changes.
And they don't really notice it...
Until they start developing magic.
And Jazz nearly kills someone with that magic when her breakfast attacks her.

And imagine it from Clark's point of view. He just got beaten up by Lexie boy, thrown into a field, had owner of said field go off at him, defeats Lexie, and then goes to his parents' house for some nice homecooked dinner. Only to find the owner of the field ranting to his parents about Superman destroying his crops. So now he has to sit through an entire dinner, listening to people talk shit about him. (Because the Kents have also had many a field destroyed by a young Clark)
I want Dan to be a farmer.
Like redeemed Dan goes through therapy, takes one look at the world filled with spandex wearing heroes and monologuing villains and just goes "Nope, I'm gonna go be a farmer."
He didn't really have a chance at living a peaceful life in the last timeline since he had Danny's job of keeping the peace (and then turned evil) but now that Danny's doing Danny's job, he's got a chance to go off and do his own thing.
So, he moves out to a nice little town called Smallville, right next to a lovely couple named the Kent's.
And he enjoys it.
It's pretty peaceful, nobody bothers him (bar from a few visits from Danny and Dani, and also the weekly phonecall from Jazz)
It's just nice.
....
Now if only the heroes could stop crash landing on his property, that'd be great.
Like seriously, Superman! He just planted that corn!
Dan just wanted a nice day out with his baby sister, was that too much to asked for? Apparently, yes, it was.
They had only been in town for two hours before all hell broke loose.
People were running, screaming, and some creep thought it was a great idea to try and take Ellie hostage.
By the time Dan turned around after dealing with the creep, Ellie was gone.
There was a sense of worry growing at the back of his mind as he looked out at the crowd of people and couldn't find the familiar mop of black hair anywhere.
Taking a deep breath, Dan chirped. Where-are-you?
Ellie didn't chirp back.
And just like that, Dan was crushed under a wave of worry, dread, and now fear.
Ellie was just there, she couldn't have gone far enough away to not hear him in that short amount of time, which meant someone would have had to taken her.
And just like that, all the dread he felt turned into rage.
Someone had taken his little sister, and he was going to find them even he had to tear this city, no, this world apart.
Dc x dp prompt #42
Ellie wanted to travel more, she wanted to see other worlds, Dan was sent with her to lessen her chaos babysit.
Now he’s on a hunt because he looked away for two seconds to deck some hulking creep and now Ellie is missing.
—
Bruce wanted one normal day, it was a wish he desperately held onto even while knowing it would never be granted.
There was a massive Arkham/Blackgate breakout while he and most of his children were all busy as their unmasked selves at a charity event.
He…may have grabbed a black hair, blue eyed child that wasn’t his while in his “Brucie Wayne” panic.
And then there was the issue of the man who punched Bane hard enough to send him flying, was he a meta? Was he a part of the breakout.?
—
Or: Dan and Ellie visit Gotham, the Batclan unintentionally kidnaps Ellie, Dan punches Bane into next week, and more chaos ensues.
