How Many Times Can I Break Til I Shatter // Over The Line, Cant Define What Im After
How many times can I break til I shatter // Over the line, can’t define what I’m after
One of my favorite OAR songs. I love his voice in this song. These lyrics are so relatable and honest, and it’s a great song about needing to just be strong enough to break the cycle of your life. It’s a little it of an older song, but it’s still a good one!

I didn’t know I lost it all // Didn’t know I’d break and fall // This isn’t who I’m meant to be // There’s so much here that I’ve found missing
I am absolutely in love with this song from Juliet! I’ve been a fan of hers since The Voice, and this song is exactly why. She has such a powerful voice, while also portraying so many different emotions all at once. These lyrics are absolutely beautiful, and her voice just adds to that. I also love that the acoustic version is the version on the album because it’s so raw and pure.

You like me best when I’m off my rocker // Tell you a secret, I’m not alarmed // So what if I’m crazy? // The best people are
Love this song from Melanie! This song has such a cool industrial vibe, while still keeping true to her kid-like nature in her songs. She’s so good at writing lyrics from a completely metaphorical viewpoint, and this song highlights that perfectly.

I walked out, I said I’m setting you free // But the monsters turned out to be just trees
Love this version by Taylor. I’m a fan of the original song, but this acoustic format suits the song so well, and really captures the emotion of the lyrics that she’s singing. One of my favorite things about Taylor is her amazing songwriting, and this version highlights that.
I will be your guardian when all is crumbling // I steady your hand
My favorite Fray song ever. I love the piano in this song, and he has so much emotion in his voice throughout. These lyrics are so beautiful and almost pure, which is a stark contrast from Isaac’s powerful and almost slurring voice.
You’re making it, everyday you’re alive // Is this the world you want?
With all that is going on around the world and in the news, this is my song of prayer. This song talks about how we are more than our religions and alignments, because how we act and what we do and say are our religions. Everything you do is your religion. The addition of the children’s choir with Jon’s powerful lyrics and voice really makes the emotions of this song stand out even more.
