Am I The Only One That Suddenly Gets Triggered When A Story Says SLOW Burn! Angsty As Hell I Can Read

Am I the only one that suddenly gets triggered when a story says SLOW burn! 😂 Angsty as hell I can read but when it says slow burn . . I immediately get actual angst and my stomach twists even thinking about reading it.

The anxiety I get from it is real, maybe it’s from the unpredictable twists and turns and not knowing if it’s ever going to end. Or if they will even get together after their crazy game of avoidance!

It just reminds me of some fanfics where I get so frustrated over it being chapter 89 and they still aren’t together yet! And they are making so many stupid decisions that keep pushing them apart, or they just won’t make the decision to say I like you!! I’m then there getting so damn frustrated and shouting at the character to just say “I want you!” Or “I really like you”

Maybe it’s because it’s never been in me to procrastinate, even though I’m an introvert I will still say I like someone very quickly. I’m not wasting my time playing games, if you don’t like me fine . . at least I can move on from it instead of getting really anxious over it.

I think I don’t like prolonging the torture as it gives me really bad anxiety otherwise ha ha!

Is it just me that gets this feeling? 🤷🏻‍♀️

I think I have about ten in my docs all being written at once BUT I thrive off chaos 😂

I get writers block and move to another until I have a moment of clarity or a great idea, then I go back fresh. It is actually working for me right now though, I will probably have ten ready at once but whatever 😅

My ultimate story is NOT a fanfic though and I’m writing up the lore, it started as a BTS fanfic but it evolved to something that I wanted to write as an actual book. I just believe that I’ve come up with something too unique to be a fanfic only! Wish me and my chaotic ass good luck!

I mean he’s NOT wrong! I try to comment and ask more interesting things BUT they get swallowed up by people writing these types of things or spam in the form of emojis 😑 🤦🏻‍♀️

It’s always “talk English” “Yoongi marry me!” “I’m (whichever members) wife” “where is (another BTS member)” “please sing this” “please do this gesture if you see this comment” the embarrassing ship names being spammed or super spam’s of their name or purple hearts.

You get what I’m saying! It’s actually frustrates the hell out of me as I want to know things about the members, like how has their week been, are they healthy, are they learning any new language’s or have they done anything like learning new hobbies, have they been able to see family and friends! What’s their favourite thing to do now, are they still writing songs? What’s their favourite song to listen to right now? Etc.

And definitely not just listening to them having to scold you for saying stupid things!

It’s a very long one shot 16k words, it might be what was giving me a nightmare as I had to add all the warnings and ratings etc too!  This is my first published work, and I’m quite proud of myself as I was procrastinating so bad due to my stupid mental health.
