Imagine Morgan being nice to you because she has a crush on you.

You knew Morgan had a reputation for being cold and kind of bitchy, but she’d always been nice to you since you started working at St. Bonaventure. You liked her. Maybe you couldn’t say she was a close friend, but the two of you were definitely on friendly terms.

Everyone else seemed to act weird around her, always giving her confused looks when she went out of her way to help you. Then you had a stay off. When you were gone, Morgan seemed grumpier than usual. Claire was finally the one to say something about it. "So, you have a crush on the new nurse, right," Claire asked.

"What? No," Morgan denied with a forced scowl.

"Oh, so you don’t go out of your way to be nice to them and the reason you’re grumpy today is definitely not because a certain someone isn’t here," Claire playfully accused.

"I-" Morgan began, trying to defend herself, but the words didn’t come. Claire was actually right. Had she really been acting that different around you?

"Just ask for date, okay?"

Morgan nodded but kept herself from smiling too much. She definitely would be asking you out when you got back.
