As hard as it is, you need to work on being a person that your loved ones feel safe to enforce boundaries with and tell you when you’ve hurt them.

It’s normal for people to make mistakes, and sometimes we overstep in relationships.

If you’re someone who goes on a guilt spiral every time someone tries to set a boundary or explains that you’ve hurt them to the point where they end up comforting you, then you’re not a person people will feel safe communicating with.
