"What's wrong, dearest brother? Don't like what you see?" So I heard that most iterations of tmnt have a monster version of Donnie at some point, and I know for a fact that the '87 version had a monster Leo. As a believer that Donnie will at some point go rogue in rottmnt, I thought it would be appropriate to make a modern monster out of him. In this case, he tried to use the mutagen to harden his shell or something, but it instead just gave him some of his bros' and Splinter's traits or whatever (can you see the Raph in there?). He kept the soft shell, of course, and despite being a monster-mutant, he's just as "Donnie" as always. A genius bruiser, you could say.

I bought a giant Donnie figure to add to my nerd shrine. He has no eyebrows or stripes, and both goggles lenses are blue, but I love him anyway.

Before mutating, he liked to take apart electronics like microwaves or radios, then put them back together. Mostly to figure out how they worked. After he mutated though, he's basically got wings and thumbs, so he can't hold tools properly. So now he works at the mutant equivalent of a Radioshack in the hopes of learning from his customers, mostly by asking questions about what they're buying and stuff. But it's not really the same.
