Can you tell us more about the book you want to publish?

Alright buckle your seatbelts ladies, gents, and they/thems also. This is gonna be a bumpy ride.

Your name is Control, and your job is to protect your team. No matter where the threat is coming from, no matter how big the threat is. You. Protect. Your. Team. Who is your team, you may ask? Well, I’ll tell you.

Drift - The team leader, the mastermind behind all of the plans, most likely the reason the entire crew isn’t dead yet. He’s the mechanic and resident consultant. When someone needs help, they come to him. From there he brings in the team, and they get to work.

Lady - The grifter, the con artist. The one who is making a way into a situation for the rest of the crew. Fluent in many languages and able to mimic any accent she hears, she is the perfect person to infiltrate a party and be the only one not leaving with criminal charges against her. She relies solely on information to tell her what to say to the mark.

Streak - If you need someone with sticky fingers, she’s your girl. It doesn’t matter where or when you need an item, whether it’s a high-security vault or a Winchester gun safe, nothing will stop her. She’s working on her grifting skills, but she’s not quite there yet. She is also known as the resident lawyer, if ever the need should arise.

Raceway - The fastest and probably most daring of the entire crew. The muscle. The fighter and racer. Often sides with Streak but will always defend what is right. Knows a few accents and is still trying. He’s also a deadshot and the go-to when the crew needs the word on the street.

There is one other character, but all you need to know is he’s a dog named Chaos.

This is Control’s crew. Her friends. Her family. The only things you need to know about Control is she’s the computer girl. She’s the hacker and intel gatherer, and she does her job well. They have only one true enemy, but I’ll save his story for another time.

Control, as she is aptly named, and her team, Drift, Lady, Raceway, and Streak, are hunted by the FBI, NSA, and just about every government lackey one could think of. Pennies, their code name of choice, always do their best to avoid them. But it's not always the easiest task.

Especially when helping others is the name of the game.

Call them what you wish. Con men, modern-day Robin Hoods, whatever you want. Just know they help those who have been robbed by robbing back. So, technically they're helping the law. Just not in the way they want it.

By the world's standards, Control is just another hacker. Sure, she spends most of her free time with computers and prefers the dark hours of the night, but she's much more than that. And when someone grabs her right out from under her team's noses, they're going to find out just what she can do.
