He listens to advice of wiser people and follow them

He don't know when to give up and that's what make him dangerous

His family are his world

He grew rapidly in his position as king unlike Rhaenyra who had years yet she didn't

He does not wait for help from others

He wasn't a puppet like others wanted him to be

He is resilient

He tried to make peace

He is not a warrior but he's one of the most dangerous and fearsome Targaryens during the dance

He is more stable than Rhaenyra, both mentally and emotionally

He's not a genius, but he's smarter than Rhaenyra

He had soulmate bond with his dragon unlike Rhaenyra who kept her dragon as her pet

The dance changed him for the better

He won the dance because he was the one who killed Rhaenyra and reclaimed his father throne

the theme of dreamfyre for herself and her riders is simply that you cannot outfly rot and that even a dragon cannot save women from westerosi gender violence and i think about her name and the hundreds of thousands of miles she flew with rhaena searching and searching for home and daughters and meaning and the years spent stabled in the dragonpit as helaena was consumed by her grief and solitude and then her eventual death madly trying to break free of her bonds as the pit was stormed, crashing into the great stone dome, and being crushed to death along with her attackers. a grounded dragon, killed by her own escape from something as mundane as humans and rock
