There are only two kinds of people who are really fascinating - people who know absolutely everything, and people who know absolutely nothing.
- Oscar Wilde (The Picture of Dorian Gray)
Fried Green Tomatoes at the Whistle Stop Cafe by Fannie Flagg
This is a book that definitely deserves more hype. I loved reading this so much because it is such a cozy read. I truly found myself wanting to live in Whistle Stop because of how sweet the characters were. Plus I looooved the sapphic storyline, it was really heartwarming. I think there’s a film based on this book that i want to watch. Anyway I really enjoyed reading this!!
Circe by Madeleine Miller
“There is so much we don’t understand. And so much unhappiness comes because of that.”
- The Color Purple by Alice Walker
"It never occurred to me that our lives, until then so closely interwoven, could unravel and separate over a thing like that."
