Just in case y'all were wondering what I look like: that's me (Brent) with the Tilda Swinton-inspired hair next to my fierce DJ friend (Sanya) with the bleach-blonde Skrillex hair. Party blondes know how to have fun! <3
My interpretation is that Yona's "clairvoyance" stems from the fact that she is a train baby and a Kronol addict. Because she was born on the train, Yona and her generation are likely to be more sensitive to their immediate surroundings. Living on a train is constantly noisy, and so train babies' senses are perhaps different from those people who were born on Earth. It may be possible that she can detect human presence behind barriers due to subtle sound waves (much like how Daredevil "sees" people even if he is blind) that only she can pick up and that others cannot.
Add the use of Kronol, and Yona's inherent abilities must be heightened significantly from the drug. This is apparent when you consider how even before she knew Timmy was under the floor of Wilford's engine, she accurately predicted if there was human presence behind the doors that her father opened each time she was given Kronol.
If you guys have any other thoughts on this, feel free to analyze further.
P.S. Yona is one of my faves, especially when she translated her father's words before the tunnel fight. "He says you guys are fucked..."
2) How the fuck did Yuna know there were children under the train? I sort of assumed she might have been a part of it...
As repelling and horrific as it can be, it draws on your curiosity and holds your interest. Know what I mean? (And sorry about the long ask.)
yeah, there was so much mindfuck moments there but nothing that really warranted censorship. snowpiercer had the kind of shock factor that forces you to think about the deep themes and that's something i appreciate as a fan of great movies. and you don't have to apologize for the long ask, bb! i'm glad there's someone else who's as enthusiastic about snowpiercer as i am, and let me tell you, there are plenty more of us here on tumblr who can't stop gushing over this movie! ;)
DON'T FUCK WITH ME
Anybody who nerd/geek-shames me because I fervently ship two fictional characters in an explicitly homosexual relationship is just asking to get their asses ripped a new one. COME AT ME IF YOU DARE.

This is me at the office when there's an outage with the internet connection: shameless selfies and reading Surfing Magazine. <3
