The holiday season is fast approaching with the new year not far behind. One upcoming 2014 film you’ve no doubt noticed we’re fans of is Jim Jarmusch’s “Only Lovers Left Alive.” During its lap through festivals across the globe, many of The Playlist team succumbed to its charms. On the heels of the recent batch of photos from the vampiric film released earlier this week, a new poster and trailer have been released online.

Snowpiercer Overload
My apologies to some of my followers if I've been assaulting your dashboards with Snowpiercer stuff, but to be quite honest, this movie really needs more love and support from a lot of people before it's long-delayed US release on June 27, 2014.
And if you happen to be a Tumblr individual who has seen the glorious light of Snowpiercer, feel free to follow my blog and track my Snowpiercer tag so you can check out, like, and reblog all the previous stuff I posted about it since last year.
And I just want to put it on record that I will be churning out more Snowpiercer stuff like gifsets, fanmixes, and possibly a fanfic piece (obviously Curtis/Edgar because that's my Snowpiercer OTP). If you don't have a problem with that, then you are awesome.
One last thing... SNOWPIERCER HAS A SEXY, HOT, AND BEARDED CHRIS EVANS LIKE HOW IS NOBODY INTO THIS AFTER THE BEAUTIFUL CAPTAIN AMERICA 2?! Trust me when I say that if your feels were irreversibly compromised with Stucky feels watching CA:TWS, then you're going to repeat the same emotional masochism watching Chris Evans in Snowpiercer.
Oh, and obviously watch it as well for the flawlessness of TILDA SWINTON. There are no words for her pitch-perfect performance in the film. And I'd like to add the adorableness of Ko Ah-Sung's character, too. Yona will be one of your faves, and you will love it.
Well, I think that's about it for now. Again, y'all need to blog and talk about Snowpiercer all over Tumblr because this masterpiece needs to be a goddamn fucking THING, okay?

Oh, yes! I absolutely LOVE reading books! Although I haven’t been reading anything at the moment because I’ve been busy with work, these are a few of my favorites that I have read (and will always reread): “The Beach" by Alex Garland “Daytripper" by Fabio Moon + Gabriel Ba “Call Me By Your Name" by Andre Aciman “The Winner Stands Alone" by Paulo Coelho “Clay’s Way" by Blair Mastbaum There’s plenty more that I want to mention but these are just the pieces I can think of at the top of my head. Hey, if you have good book recs for me to check out, let me know! :)
